DLH vs Trinidad....DLH vs Mosley II
I've seen these fights many times and i felt like making a topic about them. My opinion is that DLH got robbed in both of these and im just interested in hearing other peoples opinions.
Technically I agree on both counts. However it is harder to defend the Trinidad fight. When a fighter builds up a lead (or thinks he does) and then takes the later rounds off it's a strange way to win. People don't like it because what they saw in the last 6 rounds is whats fresher in their minds. Sort of a "what have you done lately" mentality.
Everytime I see a 12 round fight where the tide starts to turn in the later rounds I pine for the 15 round days.
Once again I think DLH won them both but the Trinidad fight doesn't bother me a bit since I don't like the strategy he used. As for Shane....well just look at Shane's face at the end of that fight.....He knows who won. Too bad the judges didnt.
