Abel Sanchez: "Golovkin never be unified champion" ; talks about future GGG's fights
I agree with him and I really think that if Jacobs and Jermall will fight the winner of this fight would be a very good opponent for GGG.
Saunders is just yupping.
Re: Abel Sanchez: "Golovkin never be unified champion" ; talks about future GGG's fights
I like GGG, but Sanchez seems like an arse.
Anyway Saunders was going to fight him, but they made the Canelo match (understandably) first, that's not Saunders fault.
Saunders offered two dates recently. Dunno Saunders is awkward, tricky, not that big a name, probably not as much money as a lot of other options. Maybe they don't want Saunders, maybe just not good for business.

Good on the spot interview. Unfortunately with Saunders, (like his friend Fury), there is an awful lot of talk but very little action. Billy Joe should be getting in at least 2 fights a year at this stage in his career.
Jacobs v Charlo winner earns the fight against GGG v Alvarez winner.
Perhaps that explains why they're not testing Canelo right now. They can't or won't risk the rematch falling through again.

Re: Abel Sanchez: "Golovkin never be unified champion" ; talks about future GGG's fights
I hold the same opinion. Just because GGG usually refrains from trash-talking that doesn't mean that his coach has to do it on his behalf. It annoys me to see Sanchez talk so much nonsense.
Sanchez doesn't seem to understand the WBC's rules.
Saunders has previously agreed to face GGG (as recently as last year) and he even signed the contract, but it was the Kazakh that turned the fight down, yet Sanchez is suddenly claiming the bout won't happen because the Brit wants "lottery money"? FFS!
Sanchez lies and I'm not entirely sure why, because those that follow the sport surely realise the nonsense he utters.
Re: Abel Sanchez: "Golovkin never be unified champion" ; talks about future GGG's fights
Speaking of uttering nonsensically, the hair across your ars over Abel Sanchez still? You're hilarious. You know why GGG and Abel had to decline that fight and so did BJS but punks like you two want to call it a legitimate offer. Joke. What about the years prior when BJS vocalized that he wasn't ready to take on someone like GGG. Or what about BJS admitting that GGG could beat him and Eubank on the same night? You really don't make any sense.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑06 May 2018, 07:52I hold the same opinion. BJS is similar to Fury in that if you sign an agreement to fight them, you stand a good chance to be tied up for over a year worth of cancellations or drama. A 36 year old boxer on top of the world like GGG doesn't have to put himself in a position like that for chump change. It's called common sense.
Re: Abel Sanchez: "Golovkin never be unified champion" ; talks about future GGG's fights
So it's impossible to not be ready, but then develop and become ready? Drivel.

For the record, I'm criticising Abel Sanchez, not GGG.caldo2025 wrote: ↑06 May 2018, 08:26Speaking of uttering nonsensically, the hair across your ars over Abel Sanchez still? You're hilarious. Saunders' accepted a bout against Golovkin and the Kazakh decided against taking it. Sanchez clearly refuses to acknowledge this.
A year or two prior, Saunders did previously decline an opportunity to face GGG, because he was offered less than Lemieux received.
Several years ago, before Saunders became a world champion, he said he wasn't ready to face Golovkin. And he was being honest about that. However, the Brit has improved significantly since then, whilst the Kazakh has declined slightly, so the situation has changed.
Abel Sanchez is now pretending that Saunders wants "lottery money" to face GGG, but the Brit did previously agree to face him. Also, no one at K2 or GGG Promotions has attempted to reschedule that fight, which means that Sanchez was talking FÛCKÎNG BÛLLSHÎT!!! So how the FÛCK does he know about Saunders' current payday demands?
Have we got to the point that fights are now being negotiated via FÛCKÎNG TELEPATHY?
You can't refute any of the above claims.

What Saunders previously agreed to was money which wasn't there, as Kazakh government wasn't guaranteeing it anymore. Saunders has always been pricing himself out, as deep down he still thinks that he is no match to GGG.

I am not criticising GGG. I am frustrated about the amount of sheer bôllôcks that Abel Sanchez utters.
Re: Abel Sanchez: "Golovkin never be unified champion" ; talks about future GGG's fights
^^^ ugh ^^^ Abel Sanchez is definitely getting annoying as heck!
Re: Abel Sanchez: "Golovkin never be unified champion" ; talks about future GGG's fights
Even if you accepting all that as true, it's irrelevant. The current standing of world titles has nothing to do with Saunders current willingness to face GGG, and as of recently Saunders is showing far more willingness to fight GGG than GGG is to face Saunders.caldo2025 wrote: ↑06 May 2018, 10:13A World Champion should never utter those words as a reason to not defend a title. Give up the belt then. Drivel is right. They should have stripped him 2 years ago

If your arguments about Saunders being unwilling had any substance you'd maybe have a point.boxing_rocks wrote: ↑06 May 2018, 13:15"Showing" being a key word.

I know for certain that originally, it was supposed to be a fight in Kazakhstan sponsored by their government and then there was some problem with funding. Most likely, some officials wanted a big cut, as it always happens in post-Soviet business, and Loefler wasn't willing to do that.
I also know for certain that Canelo's team was pressing for Golovkin not fighting in June, so with money wanted by Saunders not being available and that pressure, the fight couldn't happen.

Re: Abel Sanchez: "Golovkin never be unified champion" ; talks about future GGG's fights
Within the last calendar year, has anyone from GGG Promotions or K2 Promotions initiated contract negotiations with Billy Joe Saunders' representatives? The answer is no.boxing_rocks wrote: ↑06 May 2018, 13:15"Showing" being a key word.
Fwank Warren did reach out to Team GGG when the Canelo bout was cancelled and was swiftly told that Golovkin wasn't interested in facing a southpaw on his Cinco de Mayo fight date.
Is that enough "showing" for you?
Do you need me to provide a video of Billy Joe Saunders and Fwank Warren confirming this?
If so, I can provide one really quickly, but if I do, I hope you also provide a video of someone from Team GGG confirming the offer they made to Billy Joe Saunders for a fight during 2018.

His whole history is the point. He fought only 3 times since winning the title in 2015 and has a history of getting "injured" and delaying fights more than once. Would anybody who want a fight made quickly and happen as scheduled be willing to deal with a guy like that?BitPlayer wrote: ↑06 May 2018, 13:21If your arguments about Saunders being unwilling had any substance you'd maybe have a point.

You really do think that if you repeat the same lie often enough, that raw repetition alone is sufficient enough to eventually displace the truth.

As Oliver once said, "more please."
Re: Abel Sanchez: "Golovkin never be unified champion" ; talks about future GGG's fights
I am really fond of GGG, but the main goal of his team is earning the big money. There is no "big money" at MW without Canelo. Sad, but true................

Saunders likes to talk and hype himself by keep mentioning GGG's name to stay relevant. A true fighter that really wanted to fight GGG was Jacobs without demanding an obscene amount money. Another one was Lemieux who was a champion too.

You don't know how much Saunders wants. All you have to base your opinion on is the bûllshît claims of Abel Sanchez.apollo creed wrote: ↑06 May 2018, 13:36 Saunders likes to talk and hype himself by keep mentioning GGG's name to stay relevant. You're either a fûckîng imbecile or you're conveniently forgetting a blatantly obvious fact, which is that Saunders actually signed a contract to face GGG, but it was Golovkin that actually refused to take the bout.
Is this a tough objective truth of reality that you cannot comprehend or have I reminded you of something that you had conveniently "forgotten"?

Opinions are irrelevant in the context of real-world facts that I keep reiterating, yet people refuse to listen or acknowledge a rather simple fact that no living human being on the planet earth is capable of refuting.
I can say at least five times in a thread that it was GGG that refused to face Saunders when he was granted a guaranteed opportunity to do so, yet people prefer to either ignore or refuse to acknowledge the truth.
If I'm wrong, then prove it, otherwise you should follow your own advice and "log off and crawl back under your rock."
The only reason why you insult me, is because you can't undermine my argument, so you try to undermine the person pointing out an inconvenient and irrefutable truth of reality that you prefer to ignore.
