British Heavyweight Top 10....
British Heavyweight Top 10....
How the hell do you rank the British Heavyweight top 10.
I would say at the moment 1 and 2 are practically a given (Joshua and Whyte)
But where or where do you rank the rest.... assuming Tyson is still not eligable as "inactive".
Bellew for all the hatred is an ex Cruiserweight world champion who is undefeated as a Heavyweight.
Hughie Fury does not have a meaningful win, but ran a geniune world class fighter to a razor tight decision.
Price hasn't had a meaningful win in years but floored argueably the #2 Heavyweight in the world.
How many steps has Joyce gone up with that win at the weekend
What about Chisora, ran Whyte close but been a while since a good win.
What about current British champion Sexton - could argue that Lenroy Thomas would be his best scalp, does Joyce move above him.
Then we have Haye himself, looks shot but then his only defeat has come to a world champion at Cruiserweight
What about Dave Allen and prospects such as Dubois and Gorman where do they rank.
It is so subjective.... I'd probably have it.
1) AJ
2) Whyte
3) H Fury
4) Bellew
5) Joyce
6) Chisora
7) Haye
8) Price
9) Sexton
10) Dubois.
But really from 3-9 who could nearly have in any order (obviously Bellew ahead of Haye)

Haye can only be included on any list like this on the basis of what he was doing six/seven/eight years ago, and that fighter doesn't really exist anymore.

I was going to do a list, but there is no clear order that the top 10 should be in, so I didn't bother.
They should be fighting each other to sort the proper order out, but of the 45 possible matchups between the top 10 only about 6 have been made.

Yes, but would the 2016-2018 David Haye lose to Dave Allen? Has he already shown that he is better than Dave Allen?

Re: British Heavyweight Top 10....
You'd really need to have Fat Ton up there now! Collectively, his two wins over Haye are better than anything Whyte or H.Fury has achieved regardless of how you see any potential fight between them going!
AJ and Tyson are up in front on their own but there's a fair case that Bellew is the best of the rest unless proved otherwise.
Ps. For what it's worth I think H.Fury, Whyte, Chisora, Joyce, Dubois and Gorman all waste Tony but going by records you'd have to have him up there.

1. Anthony Joshua
2. Dillian Whyte
3. Tony Bellew
4. Dereck Chisora
5. Hughie Fury
6. Joe Joyce
7. Daniel Dubois
8. Nathan Gorman
9. David Price
10. Sam Sexton
If Tyson Fury does in fact return on June 9th, he'll instantly be no less than #3, but I don't give people credit for maybe's. Until he gets back in the ring he's inactive, and he doesn't belong in any rankings anywhere.

1 Joshua
2 Whyte
3 H Fury
4 Joyce
5 Chisora
6 Gorman
7 Price
8 Dubois
9 Bellew
10 Sexton
Obviously Tyson has the ability to beat every man on the list, but is too inactive to rank.
I was dubious about ranking Bellew, but given he is probably a good enough Heavyweight to beat Sexton, I felt I had to squeeze him in above him.

Re: British Heavyweight Top 10....
The last list is about right. Joyce would beat Bellew who is flattered by his victories against a small and totally shot Haye.

Joyce is the next hype job it seems. He's a KO waiting to happen.
Euro is his limit.

He gave Usyk a good workout. He’s nowhere near a hype job.tigermoth87 wrote: ↑08 May 2018, 06:10 Joyce is the next hype job it seems. He's a KO waiting to happen.

Re: British Heavyweight Top 10....
Bellew's nipples are way too small for a top ten ranking
