Maybe the powers that be should have their brains scanned. Preposterous.

MRIs and MRAs are 100% reliable
I can tell you first hand MRI scans are not 100% reliable.. Nothing in life is if anyone has any symptoms they should be scanned by the portable scanner of nothing is picked up then sent to hospital to be certain. No fighter should be fighting with any kind of head ache.. What Chloe and Tracey have done Is amazing and everyone in boxing should be following up on this and making sure every fighter is as safe as they can be

Then what is the point of delaying a hospital visit to use the handheld scanner that you are going to ignore and go to hospital after anyway?

I would have thought anyone showing symptoms should immediately go to hospital? But anyone showing no symptoms could still be scanned with the handheld scanner anyway. So it wouldn’t replace anything, just be an addition.

I remember a guy getting locked up for selling bomb detection kits that didn’t work. In that case it was an out and out scam but had our government bought into them, like some did, without doing proper and robust testing, imagine the fallout.

I don’t know anything about these scanners and am not for a moment suggesting they do or don’t work but before they are brought in as a tool of the trade, they should be shown to be fully up to the job.

Without trying to crap on any efforts made by the family here why didn't anybody consult with the boxing authorities over these scanners before buying them?

Only one authority currently use them and retrain in the use of them.

The only way of finding out if the are indeed sucessful is as when there is an injury to test it on. Until that has been achieved its going to be a sketchy subject.
