Tony Thompson show interest in training his former foe David Price since the Scouser plans on fighting on.

What do you guys think?

He just fought the best heavyweight in the world and he looked pretty good prior to the KO, so sure give it a shot. It's good of Thomson to offer.

Here's the full Povetkin-Price fight, with annoying commercials:

Yeah but let's hope he doesn't spar him though or accept any 'health tips' for that matter

That's not really what he's saying though is it? He's simply answering a hypothetical question posed by the interviewer and he hasn't reached out to Price.

If somebody asked me whether I’d like to train David Price and receive 10% of his fight purses, I’d probably say “yes”, but the thought has never previously crossed my mind, which means that my answer is meaningless, since I don't possess any real appetite to do anything about it.

Bring in Emanuel Steward. Bring in Eddie Futch. Bring in Ray Arcel. Bring in Angelo Dundee. Gil Clancy while you're at it.

No, but you can teach better defense, but i think he'll always be vulnerable. Not his fault, just the way he's built.

What if he just goes for broke and attacks? He's terrific on the offense. He staggered Pov. I don't know. We've become accustomed to see him reclining on the floor on his back at the end of his fights...
