Bellew's Power

Post by SAPFO »

Could it be possible that he was just never able to take the power down the weights? I mean, we are always used to fighters not being able to take the power up.

He was proven at Super HW in the Ams, struggled at the lower weights, and then hurt Haye easily, granted, Haye may be totally totally shot, but it'd still take a solid shot.

Well, Haye's chin was always questionable. Bellew's power decent anyway. He was able to land clean on Haye, the result wasn't much surprising.

I thought he was heavyweight not SHW in the Ams

haye hadnt proven his chin in years prior to bellew, and he took bellews shots easy in the first fight, just couldnt get out of the way of them

bellew is clearly a good puncher at cruiser but i dont know how much the haye fight proves, haye looks totally shot. would anyone seriously pick haye to beat any decent hw at this stage? and as said haye had no problems taking the shots in the first fight, he was basically getting teed off on for several rounds.

which opponents who he couldnt stop at lhw do we think he shouldve stopped? i mean shouldve stopped if he were caring his 'new' power

because chilemba is a really crafty hard to stop guy whod i think would go the distance with bellew regardless. and we saw clev go the distance at cruiser. bellew stopped miranda, macintosh, and mckenzie at lhw.

bolonti lasted 12 but went down a few times and is usually durable. ajisafe went the distance but hes never been stopped and your getting into fights from years ago, where its arguably a lot more then thepower that wasnt as good.
