So, just to recap.

I think GGG v Ketchel would be fun to watch and you just want to type a load of nonsense to get noticed.

Well done :TU:
I asked a set of rather simple questions about Ketchel that you are unable answer.

People often mention the names of people or refer to specific terminology in order to pretend that they're knowledgeable.

I wanted to ascertain whether or not you were that kind of guy. :TU:

To be honest, I can't answer any of the questions I've posed and I would have been delighted if you were able to answer them.
So why even ask them? Why ask a bunch of questions that you know the answer to or really care about the answer?

If it helps your petty life then I've been a boxing fan since the mid 70's & love old school fighters. I've seen Johnson v Ketchel & also went to Galveston to the area where Johnson was born (there was no statue but there's a street named after him in the ghetto).

I think Johnson is the greatest Heavyweight of all time. I think Jimmy Wilde is the greatest British fighter of all time. I love Ted Kid Lewis & Jack Kid Berg. I'm really interested in Stanley Ketchel. Even named one cat Stanley & another Ketchel. I've read a few books about him. There used to be a lot more decent boxing writers about pre internet days. You could learn a lot back then.

And after all that, I still think you're a sad petty man, if that helps :D
Once again I have to be honest, the limited amount of available footage of Stanley Ketchel that I’ve seen is horrendously poor quality and his technique appears to be rather limited.

This isn’t particularly surprising, since ‘The Michigan Assassin’ made his pro debut 116 years ago and retired only eight years later.

If most of your knowledge of Stanley Ketchel was acquired by reading books, then the strong likelihood is that their authors didn’t even see him fight either.

It saddens me that you’re offended by the simple questions I’ve asked, which would normally be considered rather trivial in nature to anyone that understands the subject matter.

By the way, I asked about Stanley Ketchel, but then you strangely decided to respond by mentioning a list of other names rather than answer the rather simple questions I originally posed.

I guess I should check BoxRec before posting. I could’ve sworn he’d lost a few early fights. I stand corrected. But, I still take GGG win over Jacobs and the W he should’ve got over Canelo.
Yeah I had him beating Canelo wider than he beat Jacobs personally.
Yep, I thought GGG won both, but I could accept a 114-113 Jacobs card, but there's no way I could see anyone scoring the fight for Canelo without having some kind of bias.
Same. The knockdown was the difference in the Jacobs fight. 1 point or so kinda fight. I had him beating Canelo 116-112, and I could see a case for 117-111 as well.

Monzon and Hagler were the two that sprang to mind for me.
