Mayweather turns down Margarito

Post by Southpaw Stylist »

Arum says Mayweather has turned it down, Mayweather says he hasn't.

I believe Floyd.

Check Maxboxing for Arum's account of it.
Floyd's account of it is on Boxing Talk.

Arum knew his time with Floyd was running low since Oscar entered the picture, and was trying to get one last big payday out of him. So, why care about the aftermath if their business dealings are done after that fight? It's a good business move by Floyd, I think Oscar will get him a lot more than Arum did, and is a more popular promoter than Arum.

Not to mention, the gross payday Oscar and Floyd would receive for their fight, a fight that wouldn't ever had a chance to occur with Arum in the way.

not surprising that a fan so extreme he names himself after a single fighter would think that fighter is unbeatable, but i guess we'll just have to see how it goes when they fight!! :TU: dont be TOO SURPRISED if it doesnt go the way you expect!!
