Joe Gollob - Can these missing fights be added onto his record please?

I've just been reading about Canadian welterweight Joe Gollob. On BoxRec he only has 3 fights recorded yet according to a newspaper article on him, the "Ottawa Citizen" dated September 14th 1943 an article about him says his record at that time was 138-11. The article mentions him fighting in the UK and beating a welshman named Johnny Davis who was on a 64 fight winning streak.

Other newspaper articles say he became a wrestling ref after stopping fighting and refers to him as a "well known boxer"

Other articles say he was Canada's most travelled athlete and boxed in the UK, USA, Mexico, South America, Estonia, Greece, Holland, Norway, Sweden, France, Lithuania and Yugoslavia (won a title there apparently). He ended up living in the UK I think and there seems to be several articles and photos on him.

Any ideas why so little info about his fights? The photo attached to his BoxRec record names him as Canada's outstanding welterweight contender for the Empire title.
