who next for loma ?

Post by jamamb »

who will be next do you think

i wonder if it will be pac at some catchweight or something if he beats lucas. im not sure if garcia happens, esp. with garcia and top rank history. dan rafael says he thinks it never happens.

i want loma to fight berchelt or tank if not mikey. loma has unfinished business at 130 and thats probably his best weight.

Arum already announced that it will be on August 25th at the Forum with an opponent TBA, possibly Beltran.

id rather have loma move to 130 again if its not mikey. there are some good fights for him there and thats more suited to his size for sure

i think not fighting either berchelt or davis = unfinished business at 130

beltran is very uninteresting although i know it would be unification.

Beltran next in a breather wipeout. Then Berchelt is my guess. Then Gervonta. Then the superfight with Garcia.

does loma plan to stay at 135 for a while? not sure that s best for him

i want him to fight berchelt or davis next year. if there is neither of them, and not garcia, who is there.

I don't think so anymore. Linares was hurting him. Beltran has power if anything. I'd be holding my breath in that fight for sure.

Beltran doesnt have Linares skills. Not even close. Linares is a sharp shooter. Beltran is solid but rather crude. He's too damn straight ahead of Loma. Target practice. Too slow.

For sure, he's not as skilled. They also said the same about Salido and here we are. Just saying that at LW, Lomachenko is not invincible. The competition is getting a lot bigger. Reminds me a bit of Roman Gonzalez here.

I definitely wouldn't bet on Lomachenko at LW. Beltran is big and hits hard.

Salido was Loma's second fight. He didn't even protest against low blows.

Beltran will look worse than Walters against Loma.

People gleaning anything from that Salido travesty need to stop. Loma was a baby as a pro and faced a guy who purposely blew weight to come in massive and then fouled the entire fight. Toss it.

Sure. I also thought Linares was going to get the GRJ treatment, but he had Lomachenko sat on his ass and dancing around the ring.

You probably weren't hanging around forums during the Salido/Lomachenko fight. Lomachenko was a massive favorite and was the second coming. Salido was pretty much thought of as a tuneup.

Do you think these guys at LW are going to come in small? :OhYes:

Beltran is pretty much a LWW fighting at LW.

The fact Salido is refusing to fight him again tells you everything there is to know. He knows.

LMAO. Salido was 12 lbs bigger than Loma on fight night. At the 126 lb division that is an absurd weight difference.

Lomachenko rehydrates around 138 lbs., last I've seen. I'm not sure what his rehydration weight was tonight, but I'd be surprised if it was anything higher than 140 lbs.

Crawford rehydrated to like 150+ against Gamboa at 135.

commey 5'9 with 69.5 reach
campbell 5'9 with 71 reach

We have seen this before it's nothing new.
Only a few boxers can do what Lomachenko does.
Tonight he was incredible knock down and all, his accuracy is off the charts.

I don't understand the scorecards.... Loma won 7 of the 10 rounds and landed the more numerous and more damaging punches.... He was breaking Linares down... With judging like this he's not going to beat Mikey Garcia by decision...

He actually looks like a Featherweight fighting as a Lightweight, but that's a fight I want to see anyway.

I believe Daud Yordan is the WBA mandatory. Unless he's going back to 130, he's gon have to fight him.

Loma is scheduled to fight 25th august, nice. But Mikey Garcia is going to fight Easter in July (looking forward to this fight !!! :) ) So it will be not him. Miguel Berchelt has scheduled fight in Mexico vs TBA, but who knows. Beltran is with Top rank but he literally brings nothing on the table for fight fans. Javier Fortuna seems like more decent fight. Anyway if they can reach deal with Tank Davis, it would be the best !!!! :box: :box: :box:

Garcia will be busy, so Berchelt or Davis.
