The Judah/Baldomir fiasco has opened another loophole to be exploited where Champions can fight, lose and still hold onto their belts by the Promoter not paying the fees. King will use this loophole more and more to protect his bargaining power.
So, at the time of speaking Ricky Hatton has vacated three belts, is going into a non-title fight, against a King fighter and really believes that this will put him in position to fight Mayweather.
Ricky said recently "If Junior Witter wins a top-three belt then I will fight him as he has something to offer. Without one I don't need him." Perhap's Maywether will return the comment and leave more egg on the Hatton's faces!
Does anyone wonder why, for the first time in 35 years, King didn't ask for options on Hatton before putting HIS champion in against a voluntary challenger. He doesn't think Collazo will win so did King know the truth way back then? Of course he did.
The German's are still not agreeing to step aside and no monetary offer has been made for him to do so. Sauerland and King don't get on and they won't be bought out so all in the Hatton garden is not looking rosy.
Is Ricky still earning that massive purse with no PPV?

There are several things about this post I don't quite understand. Be grateful for enlightenment.
1. You say damages to Mbaye
will be awarded. For what? For sanctioning the Collazo fight as a WBA title fight? But later on you claim that this won't be a WBA title fight anyway. Which is it?
2. You say that the Judah/Baldomir fiasco has created a loophole whereby promoters dont pay sanctioning fees and their fighter hangs onto the belt. But surely the Baldomir situation is down to the fighter himself not paying the sanctioning fees?
3. Is your argument really that the Mayweather/Hatton fight depends on Hatton holding a world title at 147? Because I dont find that credible. Arguably not holding the WBA title could strengthen Hatton's hand because it will allow him to be ranked by the IBF at 147 and pressure Mayweather that way. But to be honest, we all know that the key factor in Mayweather/Hatton will be money. There are too many examples of
two top 10 p4p fighters meeting with no belt at stake in recent years for me to buy this argument of yours if that is what you are claiming.
4. Finally, you make great play of the fact that King has not got options on Hatton. As if this proves all your theories. But you know, i know, King knows, the whole world knows that he would never have got options on Hatton. Hatton is one of the hottest properties in world boxing right now - if King thought he could get options on Hatton he would crawl on his arse through broken glass to get a sniff of them. As would all promoters. Including Sports Network.
