This guy along with a lot of the staff need a good talking to from Eddie or someone at matchroom/sky, in a lot of jobs now days you are stopped from having your mobile phone by your side while working so it shouldn’t be any different for these guys plus they should be concentrating on their jobs which is controlling the crowd and making the evening enjoyable for everyone instead of posting updates or pictures on Facebook or Instagram of them with a boxer or a celebrity, it is very unprofessional from them to have selfie’s done with a boxer or a celebrity during the evening i have seen many opportunity to sneak into the ringside area., at the end of the day all they are is security guards, they are paid to do a job and should do it!!!

Clifton Mitchell always seems to get in some kind of drama during the build up of big fights, whether it's with other boxers security or boxers entourage. I am not sure if George Groves still uses his security but it could kick off again if they are there this week.

And after this weeks tragic events I hope Eddie or someone high up at matchroom has a word with them and we don’t see any posts.

I worked the doors and event security for just under over a year, the old school fellas are top notch, the younger lads can't seem to get it in their heads that we were there to prevent kickoffs not get involved in them. The industry has gone to the dogs and is full of absolute whoppers who think they're the bollocks though I do remember quite fondly one of my colleagues who was a 20 stone bully getting his arse handed to him by some young scrawny lad who actually turned out to be handy as fornicate at martial arts it just goes to show you don't know who you're dealing with, I'm quite proud of the fact I never had to do anything more than restrain trouble makers and remove them from the premises. Don't believe in lamping people just to look hard in front of the birds.

Worked on doors for quite a while , Can honestly say , that i met a few liberty takers in my time , BUT they were always got rid off , I personaly and most other good doormen , would just refuse to work with them ..

If i went to work and never had a problem , it was money for nothing , so the last thing i would want is to run over to assist a wanker picking on a snotty nosed 18 year old pissed kid , .

Its easy to have a go at doormen , ect ect , but like policemen when there needed people are glad there there , Who on here has threw themselves into the middle of 8-10 guys kicking the shit out of some poor bugger on the floor , who on here has rushed up to a bar to face some pissed up or drugged up nutcase , who's just put a pot in someones face and took there eye out , whos's been stabbed in the back , who's been hit on the head from behind with them old large glass ashtrays , when there trying to throw out the theiving little bastard who's been robbing womens handbags , who's stood at the door with just one other mate telling a bus load of drunken men there not coming in , because you know they will be trouble and some poor sod will cop it off them .

Yeh , for sure you do get doormen , who are just liberty taking cowards , but by and large most will not work with plonkers like that , , because the jobs simply hard enough
