In doing some research on Benny, I ran across his social security death record. It shows he was born in 1903 instead of 1904 that the current boxing records show. I'm including the link to the page so this can be investigated for possible change. His card was issued out of Kentucky, so I was a bit confused since he lived in PA. I spoke with Hank Kaplan about this last night and he believes that Kentucky was the issuing office for PA at that time.
