Just watched one of those Mayweather Boxing Club videos on YouTube and they were getting asked about this fight. Fvck me those guys are thick as shitt! Fair enough if they don't know Warrington but half of them hardly knew Selby either. Imagine asking 5 British trainers about Russell Jr vs Diaz and every response being "WHAT!? WHO!? I DON'T KNOW THOSE GUYS!" Eejits man.

If you think Bolton undercard was bad last weekend, Frank is giving Meaty Mick a run for his money with the Leeds undercard :KO: :KO: Hope the main event makes up for it. Selby points 118-110

Said on here for a couple of years. Specifically after the Eric Hunter fight that Selby is grossly over rated by fans on the Internet. Hunter should be ashamed of his performance that night as it was a perfect opportunity for him.

Again Selby looked poor in his last fight against a nobody and if he fights like that again he will lose on Saturday. I think he only stays at featherweight because he has a belt and without it he has no appeal. He's not the only boxer like this and he won't be the last.

I think it's ridiculous how people have easily written off Warrington in this fight.

On the flip side this has been a fight Josh has had on his mind for a long time, going back to when they were domestic level. Warrington is a guy who is genuinely going there to win which Lees opponents have not done that for some time now.

Warrington will finish this fight strong. So the key for him is not letting Selby knick the early rounds.

Also this is in Leeds and Josh is one of Frank's top guys. If this is close he will get the decision no doubt. Selby has to win 8 -9 VERY CLEAR rounds to get this. I'm not sure he will.

I think Selby is someone who can fight down to his level of opposition though. My big concern is that he doesn’t see Warrington as any kind of threat and gets complacent. But I definitely think Selby is the better fighter, and I believe he’ll show himself to be a level or two above Warrington on Saturday.

Let's see.

I think it's an excellent fight now it's finally here.

Very good weekend on boxing

Selby for me.

I almost see this as a (much) lower level Hatton vs Mayweather where Warrington will huff and puff from the start, take a few rounds on the cards but eventually get broken down and stopped.

School will be in session.

Not sure what is eating Warrington, but he's lost the plot in the build up to this one. He hasn't come across well at all. I think the pressure has got to him. A home crowd is great, but it can also add incredible pressure.

He's putting a lot of faith in destiny and the crowd playing their part etc - I don't think his mental approach to this fight has been right from the day it was announced.

Selby is more accurate, he's quicker, he's bigger and he's a better boxer.

Warrington is fit as a fiddle, and has fantastic workrate. A good all round ethic once in the ring. If he get's off to a good start it might get interesting, The trouble is he isn't difficult to hit, his head movement is poor and he's very lean, ripe for body shots.

I think Selby is going to find Warrington an easier target that vice versa..

Yeah tbh I think reality of the task at hand has set in for Warrington and the pressure is getting to him. The prospect of potentially getting ko’d in front of a bunch of rabid pissed up football fans at Elland Road can’t be looking too appealing right now.

I agree,he's been a bit of a knob in the pressers and i'd love to see him beaten on Saturday.

Just watched the weigh in.

Selby looks like a prisoner of war and I genuinely believed his arms had disappeared at one point point when he was tensing up on the scales.

I heard he comes down from Light-Heavyweight to box at Featherweight, this is going to catch up with him one day and who knows it might be tomorrow.

I am tempted to put a bit on a Warrington late stoppage. Selby will outbox him early but against Barros and Ramirez he boxed for six rounds of the fight.

No way does Selby come down from Light Heavyweight, he’s tiny (obviously not compared to most featherweights, but definitely compared to the average bloke).

Selby’s never a light heavy.

He looks rail thin, but not too bad I’d say. Josh looking good and I think he’ll drive himself to the limit tomorrow night, with that baying crowd behind him ( and all that yacking he’s done ) but Selby has the edge all round; he will likely have to dig deep, and I think he stops the Yorkshire man late in a great fight.

Can't believe the state of Warringtons railings not a good advert for the dentist he used to work at. Perhaps he wanted to wait till after Selby gives him a hiding before he gets em sorted. No point in paying twice

Here it is, I did post it in another thread but that seemed to die off.

Selby's plan to sign with Haymon to become a star in America obviously worked out well....

Fake news. The Selby van was attacked but not the actual team. No one was hurt

The Selby team have reported the Warrington team for racism due to them having two blow up sheep at the weigh in.

Former Leeds cruiser Denzil Browne is comedy gold with his fb videos on this fight. He hates Josh’s team and is backing Selby with thousands of fans. The hatred he’s getting is unreal. Big D is not bothered!

Yes, it's really, really poor. I didn't think an undercard for a stadium held world title fight could be so bad. (I haven't checked previous FW outdoor offerings though.)
