Re: Tyson Fury comeback on TV?
Still brilliant as ever, I’d forgotten there was a load in there about Paul Sykes as well as Fury. Real shame palooka doesn’t post anymore. And what happened to mercman, haven’t seen him on here for ages.Boxerbeetle wrote: ↑10 May 2018, 17:00Enough stats for one night, I’m going to read the Partridge thread again, it’s been nearly a year since I last read it and I’m already grinning in anticipationCounter-puncher wrote: ↑10 May 2018, 16:52Fortunately dirk didn't post on the partridge thread, so drilling down on the numbers would be easier.Boxerbeetle wrote: ↑10 May 2018, 16:49
Hmmm interesting.
I suppose if we’re getting into the nitty gritty, we should account for Tyson being part of a wider boxing lineage - dirk could also be referring to Hughie or Peter (unlikely, admittedly). And who could ever forget the John Partridge/Fury thread, fvck knows how that legendary meandering shambles skewed some of the stats.
If I could be arsed. He may mention Hughie Peter or John or even Billy, in some posts. Let's call it 2%. We all know who forms the bulk of them.

Re: Tyson Fury comeback on TV?
Is this odd or ridiculous?
In a few weeks Fury is supposedly scheduled to fight but still NO opponent has been announced.
Are they waiting for the ring walks to reveal an opponent?
Is this actually going to happen or is Fury more preoccupied with critiquing Bellew to bother showing up on the 9th?
Are they selling tickets yet for this mystery bout?

Re: Tyson Fury comeback on TV?
Early next week will determine if it's on or off. As with all Fury fights I'll be sceptical until fight week he has had five dates fall through at Manchester arena previously.SenorPipino wrote: ↑18 May 2018, 12:04 Is this odd or ridiculous?

Not sure how tickets are doing as no seat map on Eventim. Every ticket category available apart from one of the floor blocks which has been the case for a while.

Advertised as being shown in pub windows here, only normally happens for AJ fights.

That should drum up some business.mickey1975 wrote: ↑18 May 2018, 12:25 Advertised as being shown in pub windows here, only normally happens for AJ fights.
I hope they have something to show.
If it does happen, you have to figure the designated victim barely knows how to lace up the gloves.
Seferi might now be considered too talented for a last minute opponent.
Whoever it is (if it does happen) it has predictable 1st round blowout written all over it.

Hope its not true but a couple of people were posting on facebook michael sprott yesterday. Seems unlikely but at just a few weeks notice we are getting to the point of it being a proper shitty mismatch.
Re: Tyson Fury comeback on TV?
It is so unprofessional not having an opponent named by now. Hearn would never ever do that

No surprise to see you staring into pub windows Mick.mickey1975 wrote: ↑18 May 2018, 12:25 Advertised as being shown in pub windows here, only normally happens for AJ fights.

He said the other day that Saunders had been a major star since he went out on PPV. He says similar things all the time. Why.

I that was always going to be the case. The sad thing is the possible lack of preparation for his opponent. I feel that (especially) the dangers of HW boxing make dragging some bloke off the couch at the 11th hour is a health and safety issue, as well as a general disappointment to boxing fans.Bigdogsnose wrote: ↑18 May 2018, 15:23 Hope its not true but a couple of people were posting on facebook michael sprott yesterday. Had a little delve. Sprott has retweeted somebody else saying its him. Seems like a wind up. Could be somebody even worse yet!rd350lc wrote: ↑18 May 2018, 16:33Best not be , joke if it is.Bigdogsnose wrote: ↑18 May 2018, 15:23 Hope its not true but a couple of people were posting on facebook michael sprott yesterday. Don’t worry about me lads, £500 bet Dirk I can name the pub and take a photo or you ring them up and ask them. Ned Stark can adjudicate as he lives here? Yes, I tend to see a lot of pub windows when out driving.

You're a pudendum, simple as that.
Mickey can (and does) stop drinking
But you'll always be a pudendum.

Just a certain poster who picks and pokes and snides away like a fvcking woman, fvckin dirk, carries on his bitching like he grew up in a girls school or spent much too much of his formative time around women, like he was in drama school or something and he became like them where the bitchiness became such second nature it became normalised ('he deserves it! He says things I find silly' pudendum), and it stuck with him and it's just jibe-jibe-jibe away, little snide backbiting, absolute gaping menstrual chasm of a pudendum. That's all.
Re: Tyson Fury comeback on TV?
