I get the feeling Sky have peaked whereas BT is the up-and-coming contender. I still think Sky lead the pack though, for now at least. It's great to see Warren doing well, boxing needs geezers like him.

Considering Matchroom have all this money from SKY for the last 5+ years and Rob McCraken supposedly advising the elite GB boxers to join Eddie its closer than it should be.

Matchroom's boxers in and close to their prime being:
AJ
Whyte
Bellew
Crolla
Burnett
Quigg
K. Yafai
Brook
Khan
J. McDonnell
C. Smith
C. Johnson
Fielding
Campbell
Ritson

Then their Prospects
Buatsi
Kelly
Fowler
Okolie
Benn
Cash
Cordina

Frankie's main guys
Tyson
BJS
Frampton
Flanagan
Selby
Beefy
Yarde
O'hara Davies
Catterall
Warrington
Josh Leather
Super Skeete
Liam Williams
Paddy Barnes

Then prospects
Dubois
Garner
Gorman
Lerrone Richards (he needs more exposure)
Zak Chelli
Woodstock
Harvy Horn
Pigford
Sam Maxwell

I would prefer matchroom’s main guys over FW’s. Also I would argue Matchroom’s prospects have stronger pedigree than FW’s. The bulk are ex Olympians are being moved far quicker (Josh Kelly, Okolie) than Frank’s.

There’s also loads of other fighters that Matchroom have that aren’t listed (Jacobs, Katie Taylor, Ricky Burns, Gavin McDonnell, Reece Bellotti, Frank Buglioni, Stephen Smith, John Ryder, Martin Ward, Eggington, Dodd, Coyle, Cheeseman and many others), plus Yeleussinov.

Whilst FW’s also got Tete, Nicola Adams, Barrett, Ward and Jamie Conlan.

To be fair, a lot of fighters have left FW over the last decade. How many of them do you think regretted it?

I don’t think Ricky would have regretted leaving Frank - I think he’s regretting having his dad as his manager though!

I’ve heard him say in person three times he should have stayed. And Naz.

I think Frank did great for both Naz and Hatton and I can definitely understand why Naz would regret it but not so much Hatton. He still sold massive volumes of tickets and sold loads of PPVs.

I always felt a bit sorry for Frank when as soon as Hatton beat Tszyu he signs with Hobson. I suppose he would have done more with Frank than he did with Hobson/Art Pellulo.

I don’t know how many have regretted it Dirk, it’s not relevant though. I‘m talking about the future. Allegedly has been through a transitional phase over the past few years. Now he’s ready, we already know he can sign the top guys and the big shows will follow. That’s what boxing needs. One big promotional outfit on its own is bad for the sport. I, for one, am pleased to see Allegedly going strong again.

I think sky are sh***ing themselves. They sent me a really long survey today about sport. Wanting to know if I would cancel sky and/or BT sport under certain scenarios.

And if I did cancel sky as a result of them losing certain sports would I be tempted to stay if they offered me half price box sets for 6 months!!?? It was all a bit desperate. They are definitely rattled.
