LOL at O'Sullivan : "The question is will he[GGG] be able to handle my power?"

Post by apollo creed »

"It will be a better fight than this. I can see flaws in him. It will be a very entertaining fight, a Mexican style fight and I will come out the victor," said O'Sullivan.
When asked if he would be able to take Golovkin's power, O'Sullivan turned the question around on the reporter.
"The question is will he be able to handle my power? I saw him get caught with a couple today and it is going to be a whole different story with me. I am a hard hitting 160 pounder and I think he will be in a lot of trouble if he fights me,"
O'Sullivan stated. from BS site

This dude is trying too hard. :OhYes:

Spike should position himself to fight Canelo after the Sept rematch with GGG.
Regardless of the result.

A GGG fight would be a rerun of the Martirosyan fight, only longer, more brutal, and possibly bloodier, but definitely less rewarding. O'Sullivan is no doubt a hard man, but so was Martirosyan. Being merely bigger than Martirosyan is unlikely to be enough against a superior boxer/puncher like Golovkin.

So if it's a war with Golovkin or Alvarez the smart money says take Canelo seven days out of seven. A points loss will do him little harm physically and a lot of good financially.

Golovkin lets himself get hit when he doesn't rate someone's power, admittedly that is most opponents, I think everyone has seen the same "weaknesses" in him. No one has exploited them yet enough to win.

In order to have any success at all fighters need to have absolutely unshakeable self believe. When expressed publicly it often comes across as sounding crazy.

Yes please, that is more his type of fight. Unless he is looking to cash out of course...

If he can't get Canelo, then this would be a fan favourite. Wherever it's held the result will be the same - grade A brutality, guaranteed.

Totally! :box:
He could make decent money either in the UK or Canada I expect. Golden Boy would probably screw him way down if he fought Canelo. Being 33 I'm sure he has a couple of good years, it's just he has got into a sort of contender position right now and that should be his big chance to earn good money.
