Still, it can hardly rank as one of the "worst decisions". As you write, DLH blew it himself in good measure.

De La Hoya could've been known as one of the greatest welterweights in his era, he should've just put away Trinidad. Still felt he should've got the decision.

I would say some of Ottke's fights. Especially the Robin Reid fight where Reid was warned for having the audacity to hit Ottke and when he knocked Ottke down the ref said it was a slip.

Other bad decisions maybe:

Hagler - Antuofermo
Hearns - Leonard

My personal favourite because I was there and I know the trainer is Steve Bendall v Kreshnick Qato. A bit obscure I know but 'Nick' outboxed and took Bendall apart. If Bendall won 2 rds I would be being generous. Bendall got the decision by one rd. Absolute disgrace. The crowd booed for ages. The ref in charge had a few choice words thrown in his direction.

Ottke-Reid was poor refereeing more than bad judging.

As a matter of fact I don't remember a single Ottke fight where the judges clearly robbed his opponent. There wer close, disputed fights - notably agasint Brewer, Larsen, Reid - but this is all.
