What’s next? Hmmm, maybe a garbage defence like most of Frank’s champions

Re: Round-by-Round - Lee Selby (c) vs. Josh Warrington - 19 May 2018
Inspired performance from Warrington, I had him winning 117-111, cant see how 1 judge can have him losing , poor form again, I fancied Warrington on points but I never thought he'd be so dominant and land so cleanly so often, I wasn't surprised he was stronger than Selby but I was surprised he was quicker and had better timing, constantly from the off he was catching Selby clean first in the exchanges
Selby looked out of sorts from the start, Warrington just walked him down and bullied him all night, his chin stood up well again, Warrington might not be a puncher but he landed the sort of clean punches that KD/KO opponents, the cuts were gutting but Selby just didn't have the power to hurt Warrington and the strength to hold him off, there were spells he looked to box but I thought Warrington done a great job of partially blocking most
Warrington looked strong and his tactics were spot on, he proved a lot of people wrong there who thought he was just a workhorse, he outboxed and outfought Selby all night and hurt him a few times as well, Selby went out on his shield but Warrington inspired

Credit to Selby. Despite 2 nasty cuts, on top of that, he went to the challengers hometown, never gave up. There was at least 4 times when I thought he was going to drop. Maybe he has a good chin, but I think we all can agree that Warrington doesn't possess that kinda power.
Re: Round-by-Round - Lee Selby (c) vs. Josh Warrington - 19 May 2018
Time will tell if Warrington goes on to be a world beater, but there's no doubt he is better than Selby. Forget rematches.

i thought it was a great performance by warrington , i think selby team got his tactics wrong , every time selby corner told him to go forward at josh , josh give him 1 2 in the face , i give josh lot of credit didnt think he was that good to do a job on selby 12 rdshandsofstone wrote: ↑19 May 2018, 18:04 Inspired performance from Warrington, I had him winning 117-111, cant see how 1 judge can have him losing , poor form again, I fancied Warrington on points but I never thought he'd be so dominant and land so cleanly so often, I wasn't surprised he was stronger than Selby but I was surprised he was quicker and had better timing, constantly from the off he was catching Selby clean first in the exchanges

That was decent, but it just makes the whole thing even more annoying.
Allegedly could fill the undercard with (cheap) unknowns in area-title bouts - they're often the best fights..

Carl could always defend his WBO interim strap. Frank can build it as a world title fight.samwbr wrote: ↑19 May 2018, 18:35Carl ain't budging there either.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑19 May 2018, 18:28 Warreñ saying the Warrington vs. Frampton won't be next at Windsor Park.
