Unless Jack rematches Stevenson, he's never getting a title at LHW. Bivol, Gvozdyk, and Kovalev are all too strong for him. By the way, Stevenson is done at world level. They need to cash him out ASAP. Maybe finally fight Pascal and milk the title once more.

The fight was close and I initially thought Adonis won this bout, but it's far too close to be considered a "robbery".
Defo not a robbery. It was a close fight for sure, I had it clear for Adonis.

Don't want to see a rematch next. Don't mind it next year. Adonis needs to fight again this year.

I don't think so. Stevenson is too dangerous early for a chinny fighter like Jack. I wouldn't mind a rematch if it means Stevenson fights more than once a year!

WBC ruled that a champion must fight Gvozdyk next. If there is a rematch, there shouldn't be a belt on the line.

Ouch, that's great. Stevenson is done by the way. He's losing that title to Gvozdyk, mark it! :yay:

Jack got warned for the low blows, lucky he wasn't docked a point of he would have lost.

Can say same for Adonis for te holding, but I don't think he was warned.

He got stopped in the first round by Derek Edwards, brutally, and he fought scared and almost got stopped against an exhausted, old Stevenson. He's fragile.

Agreed with that. Plus, Jack isn't dangerous in the starting. Stevenson would probably turn it up like he did Fonfara in their rematch. Only way he could win is to put it all on the line and get Jack out of there early.

When did he nearly get stopped? He was always in that fight. If he is chinny so is stevenson cause he got stopped in the 2nd round and was out on his feet on more than one occasion in this fight, yes he hurt jack TO THE BODY nit the head in round 9 but that was ut jack had him rockin and rollin from the 7th onwards

The WBC actually stated that the winner of Stevenson-Jack must face Oleksandr Gvozdyk next (their actual words).

Tonight's result was a draw, which means that a bout between Adonis Stevenson and Oleksandr Gvozdyk is clearly no certainty.

After Stevenson landed that straight to the body. Jack was fixing to fold if Stevenson wasn't so exhausted.

Stevenson is also chinny, though, but he makes up for it with power. Stevenson being chinny isn't new, guy. Thing is that Jack doesn't have much power to deter Stevenson early.

What Jack does have is good workrate, only when he turns it up.

He could also start a little quicker seeing that he had already gon 12 rounds with Superman.

Starting fast early is a tough ask, though. He fought scared for a reason. Stevenson is extremely dangerous early when he spams that left hook like a character out of Fight Night.

Jack just doesn't have the power to make Stevenson cagey as well. Funny enough, who is the biggest puncher Stevenson fought: Cloud, Bellew, or Williams Jr.?

Jack needed to start fighting in Round 4 or 5 instead of Round 6. I would favor Jack to win a rematch. Adonis isnt what he was.

Jack expectedly had a slow start, Adonis was better overall until the 7th round, when Jack had taken over. The 7th and the 9th were great for Badou, it looked like the fight would have ended clearly in his favor. In the 10th Jack blew it, Stevenson's body punches were damaging. Jack still had a better overall ending of the fight. The rematch is needed.
