Tyson Fury v Seferi - 9th June
Tyson Fury v Seferi - 9th June
It’s been announced. A 5’10 39 year old Albanian / Macedonian.
I thought it would be weak, but this is worse than I expected.
He’s been campaigning at CW.
Vitali Klitschko was out for 4 years and came straight back to fight for the WBC strap.
I’m not complaining and I know Fury has had issues, I’m just putting layoffs into context. But, I’m glad he’s back although it might be a long road.

If that's the level of the first rung on the ladder, then according to my calculations, he should be ready for a title shot early in 2026 ![[icon_e_biggrin.gif] :D](./images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif)

LMAO. Awful matchmaking by Frank and didn’t Fury say he’d not fight Bellew because he’d hurt him as he’s a CW. Although he fought and was dropped by USS Cunningham.
I’d laugh so much I’d Seferi catches Fury.

And I think that there is some logic behind this.
Just an event. The Return of Tyson Fury.
Not an actual fight. Could be billed as an exhibition.
No one expected a serious opponent. One poster here said that Michael Sprott was in the mix.
Fans will expect a step up in Fury's next appearance. Maybe to the level of Tarver.
It will be at least 2019 before Fury considers fighting an actual top 10 guy.
Re: Tyson Fury v Seferi - 9th June
Cmon, this almost laughable. Haye was out for longer and came back against an undefeated, granted shit, De Mori. But at least he was a legit HW. Vitali Klitschko came right back after 4 years and pulverised a then formidable Sam Peter.
I’m not saying he should face someone in the top 15, but at least a top 50 HW.

I think the poster above got it right, 2025 at this rate.SenorPipino wrote: ↑20 May 2018, 11:51RandomUsername wrote: ↑20 May 2018, 11:35 Seferi must have the worlds most padded record. LMAO. I’m half expecting his local kebab shop to have signage on the canvas when he returns. Instead of McFit, McFat.

Isn't he supposed to be in terrific shape, weight-wise?
Somewhere here, a photo of a shirtless, solid-looking Fury was presented for our perusal.
One poster actually marveled at how firm his breasts were.
Too each, their own.

If Fury is still alive
If his uncle can survive...
Sorry, couldn't resist.
Anyone born after 1970 probably won't get this w/ the possible exception of Gilgamesh.

Re: Tyson Fury v Seferi - 9th June
I'm really surprised that it took so long to officially announce Fury's next opponent, because the entire boxing world knew that he was facing Seferi since the 17th April.
Re: Tyson Fury v Seferi - 9th June
I didn’t. I heard rumours it was a 39 year old Macedonian but nothing confirmed. In all honesty, I rather see him fight Ronnie O’Sullivan.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑20 May 2018, 14:24 I'm really surprised that it took so long to officially announce Fury's next opponent, because the entire boxing world knew that he was facing Seferi since the 17th April.
