Just checking Mick - wouldn't be the first time you've been caught bullshitting.

Thanks for the link.BigDoofus wrote: ↑25 May 2018, 02:49Hearn is on the radio, IFL all the time. He said he'd spoke with Haymon, it was genuine and it was now up to Joshua to decide. I posted at the time it was time to "Man up" or swerve, which you declared was pathetic.
Can't be arsed to check, but try this one:
You are pathetic. But thanks for the link. I'd already watched this.

Won't stop Joshua nuthuggers from saying the exact opposite
We had to endure plenty of dirk prancing on about the fight not making as much money in the US, Haymon and Showtime not being able to get the 50m etc etc (not really me as much as I have him on ignore and only saw his post because you quoted it). Now that Hearn has come out and said the exact opposite, dirk and co will move the goalposts as he has done above. There is no point in engaging with these hardline joshua fanboys. I come here for objective discussion of fights. I have a few fanboys on ignore and i suggest you do so also. Unfortunately i have jamam on ignore because he consistently writes in an unreadable style. Guy posts like hes posting on a twitter account
Re: AJ v Wilder set for America?
I had a very similar conversation a year or so ago with a fan who said Lomachenko was "swerving" Rigo.
He said the very same stuff you're saying.
I told him he was pathetic too

Re: AJ v Wilder set for America?
If Lomachenko had demanded $50m for fighting Rigo, been offered it, tweeted "Let's Roll" and then back-pedalled, it would have been a great comparison
Re: AJ v Wilder set for America?
He, like you, was pathetic for slagging off boxers and accusing them off being scared without knowing what's going on behind the scenes.BigDoofus wrote: ↑26 May 2018, 02:41If Lomachenko had demanded $50m for fighting Rigo, been offered it, tweeted "Let's Roll" and then back-pedalled, it would have been a great comparison

Everyone seems to be taking this very personally
Let’s just hope the fight gets made, who gives a toss where it’s held / who promotes it / how much the purses are.

I want the first fight over here in November then a rematch in London in April (I'm there for a wedding).

The fight is ending by KO and very likely a conclusive one. This is a fight where there could be absolutely no demand for a rematch.Taansend wrote: ↑26 May 2018, 10:53Boxerbeetle wrote: ↑26 May 2018, 10:46 Everyone seems to be taking this very personallyLet’s just hope the fight gets made, who gives a toss where it’s held / who promotes it / how much the purses are.

I dont mind the fight happening in the uk. It probably will. Theres more money in the US. For example They could fill Wembley with 90000 and it wouldn't make anywhere near what 17000 in the mgm grand would make because the Americans charge much more for tickets.
Re: AJ v Wilder set for America?
You may be correct, but I was confident enough to post that I fully expected Hearn and Joshua to be coming out with excuses and, whether you consider it pathetic or not, it looks like I will be proved right.Taansend wrote: ↑26 May 2018, 10:31He, like you, was pathetic for slagging off boxers and accusing them off being scared without knowing what's going on behind the scenes.
Re: AJ v Wilder set for America?
Problem with going all-in about a fighter desperately avoiding another is that you look like an idiot when the fight happens.
It'll happen as there's too much money in it not to happen. At some stage Wilder will realise, just like Parker realised, that a fight with Joshua is his only chance to make an eight-figure purse. They aren't arguing from a position of strength because there palpably isn't anything approaching an equivalent back-up plan.

In my head it's a Hagler Hearns type shootout & there WILL be a rematchTheLeprechaun wrote: ↑26 May 2018, 11:01The fight is ending by KO and very likely a conclusive one. Who’s the Hagler though, because Hearns was never stopping him no matter how many times they had it!Taansend wrote: ↑26 May 2018, 11:26In my head it's a Hagler Hearns type shootout & there WILL be a rematchTheLeprechaun wrote: ↑26 May 2018, 11:01The fight is ending by KO and very likely a conclusive one. Some chin on Hagler. Him vs GGG would be a nice firefight while it lasted. If it's the Hagler that turns up against Hearns then someone is getting bombed out before the 6th.lillywhite14 wrote: ↑26 May 2018, 13:57Who’s the Hagler though, because Hearns was never stopping him no matter how many times they had it!Taansend wrote: ↑26 May 2018, 11:26In my head it's a Hagler Hearns type shootout & there WILL be a rematchTheLeprechaun wrote: ↑26 May 2018, 11:01

Really when you get down to the nitty gritty, its about who wants to sell his belt/belts, and what the price tag is ,, now we know Wilder has the backing to bring the belts back to the good ol usa, Its just down to wether or not Aj wants to sell them for 50 mill plus because if he fights in the Usa he,s gonna lose unless its a ko win
Then theres the other side , How much does Wilder want for his belt in tne Uk , because its the same scenario, ko or lose.

Honestly this fight is ko or ko. I can not see any way possible that this fight goes the distance.coneye wrote: ↑26 May 2018, 20:53 Really when you get down to the nitty gritty, its about who wants to sell his belt/belts, and what the price tag is ,, now we know Wilder has the backing to bring the belts back to the good ol usa, Its just down to wether or not Aj wants to sell them for 50 mill plus because if he fights in the Usa he,s gonna lose unless its a ko win

Re: AJ v Wilder set for America?
youd think itd be a stoppage with both of them only going the distance once, but wilder has many fights that went 8-12, including 4 that ended 10th or later, while joshua has been to the 10th or later in his last 3
if they are both more cautious then usual because of the others danger, it could creep toward the distance.
also contrary to some beliefs, neither guy destroys everyone they hit with there first clean power shots. weve seen both guys drop opponents only to later almost get taken out themselves and win several rounds after scoring a knockdown.
i wouldnt be shocked if we saw knockdowns but it went 12

Most likely a KO. Maybe an 80% chance. Especially if the chins turn out to be shaky.tiny_acres wrote: ↑26 May 2018, 21:28Honestly this fight is ko or ko. But you can never be certain. A couple big punchers get together and are so apprehensive about the other's power that they put on a cautious boxing exhibition.
Re: AJ v Wilder set for America?
yes, between them they have 7 fights that ended in the 10th or later. now lets say there each more cauitous then usual. would it be a total shock if it went 12?
