Nope neither did i till just now, against David Carmona, looks a bit of a gimmie for Khalid as Carmona has won 1 of his last 4.
The fight takes place in Fresno USA, and is part of a double bill of Super Fly title fights on the bill.

It looks like they might be setting up Yafai vs Ancajas... although Ancajas is in a much tougher fight.Old bones Ian wrote: ↑24 May 2018, 16:05 Nope neither did i till just now, against David Carmona, looks a bit of a gimmie for Khalid as Carmona has won 1 of his last 4.

Yeah looks that way, and I don't know if this fact is correct but the Ancajas fight is the first all Filipino title fight for something like 90 years!

Let's see if Yafai can sparkle and make himself an attraction.
Important to look impressive over Carmona, who is a massive underdog.
Carmona is just a middling contender who doesn't win at the top level. But he actually survived the distance against Monster Inoue.
That should give Yafai something to shoot for.

To be honest, Yafai should take the Edwards fight as a voluntary. It's an easy fight and drums up some British interest. As it stands, the only way anyone is ever going to hear about him fighting for the foreseeable future is if the fanman lands in the middle of the ring during a round and it gets plastered over the tabloids
