Tom Loefller : "It was 65-35 percent for the rematch" LOL It's obvious that Canelo was trying to price himself out
Loeffler previously explained that Canelo gave Miguel Cotto a 55% share of the money back in 2015 - and the Golovkin fight did a bigger gate and a higher pay-per-view buyrate.
“All Gennady came back with is that, ‘I just want a fair split, I want a 50-50 split. I’m the champion,’” Loeffler said to The Press Enterprise.
“We made a lot of concessions for the first fight, was a very low percentage for Gennady. We made a lot of concessions for the rematch after Gennady proved his value.
“But Canelo, for whatever reason, was insisting on still having a huge advantage. … It was 65-35 percent for the rematch and Gennady thinks that’s just not fair. Taking 35 percent as the champion is just not fair.” from BS site
35% is a joke. I don't want to think about how many other things was Canelo demanding in his favor.

..what a travesty, the champ has to beg the doper to agree to 50/50 split..

There's two sides to every story and GBP have not confirmed Loeffler's claims. So I think we should refrain from jumping to conclusions until more is known.
Also, I'm pretty sure that GGG received that sort of percentage split for the first bout.
Canelo is the financial draw here, not GGG, and those that have become emotional, by tearfully moaning about Golovkin being mistreated, need to remember that!

LOEFLLER said GGG got 30% for the 1st fight---CANELO got 70% which came to over $50 million. ODLH is saying a raise to 35% is a great deal for GGG !Enlightened-One wrote: ↑27 May 2018, 10:07 There's two sides to every story and GBP have not confirmed Loeffler's claims. We should calm down. This fight will probably get made. Too much money to make.

It will, but it won't mean nearly as much. The backlash amongst the fans was huge regarding PED issue with Canelo.apollo creed wrote: ↑27 May 2018, 12:36 We should calm down. This fight will probably get made. Too much money to make.

What a sport. The caught red handed doper gets to make the rules, he gets to cheat the sport out of millions of dollars, and gets to decide what money the clean champions make or don't make. With an army of empty headed followers defending him.
Projecting everything onto Golovkin or Loefler is an interesting choice, any coherent person can see it's a joke. As is Gomez, DLH, and their cash cow. Canelo has long been suspected of special treatment, rule bending, gifted points he didn't earn, hell gifted entire scorecards he didn't earn. All that even before he finally got caught doping. This is not someone who even remembers what true fair play is. This is why he has become a spoiled rotten diva. He reminds me of an addict. Blame everything on everyone else, own up to nothing ever, keep everything for himself fornicate anyone else. At some point it won't be possible to dismiss or ignore who's really the problem here. For now expect more diluted bullshit, public denials, and no matter what happens it will in some way benefit Canelo.

The controversy will likely improve the commercial success of the GGG-Canelo rematch, due to the amount of free publicity it has received, coupled with the bout being a genuine grudge match.oogiebe wrote: ↑27 May 2018, 12:47It will, but it won't mean nearly as much. The event will not have a competing PPV cannibalising the PPV sales, like the Mayweather-McGregor circus bout.
The PPV sales for the GGG-Canelo rematch will almost certainly surpass their first fight.

Even this money disagreements add publicly and help to promote the fight. So, if they agree to 40-45 percent, they will both benefit.
The problem is that Canelo may not want to fight GGG without being able to juice.

All these comments from stupid people. Do you idiots know it’s a business ? Do you guys know GGG doesn’t bring in the revenue Canelo does ? Why should he get paid even when Canelo is the MONEY .. all you dumb fucks saying it should be 50-50 are IDIOTS

Only trace amounts were found, consistent with meat contamination, he passed a hair follicle test, and is enrolled in @Vada_Testing. No excuses GGG lovers

Absolutely it shouldn't be 50-50, Raggedy Ann has stolen far too much already from boxing he's benefited enough from his brain dead followers money. He doesn't deserve shit. Too many idiots believing what their told. Failed 2x in February, then months later after not defending or even having to defend himself, a less than 100% accurate hair test that loses even more accuracy after few months ( How convenient! The same amount of time Raggedy Ann waited to reveal this miracle test result lol) is all it takes for the idiots to convince themselves Canelito is somehow the victim LOL. Stupid, stupid fucks y'all are. Y'all probably just mad everybody saw that hoe running for his life from the actual Champion. And still. Regardless of money, everyone knows that chump cheated, ran, and still couldn't win. Punk got caught, fornicate him. You wanna slob his knob that's your thing.

Gennady might be willing to compromise....
How about reverse the numbers in GGG's favor 65 to him and 35 to Canelo.........AND in return allow Canelo his PED"s?
Not THAT"S a fair deal. Gives' both guys a little of what they really want.
