So I find this match-up very interesting. Tiger was real deal, I definitely put him in the top 10 all time rankings of the MW. He was very dangerous inside, but he had problems in getting close to the likes of Giardello and Griffith. And Robinson obviously could move well, use his jab to keep the distance. All depends here on SRR's ability to maintain this picture of the fight and he would have most likely been able to do it, so I pick him to win by the decision.

I strongly agree with you as a great swarmer as Tiger was, SRR would box him on the outside behind his jabs and combinations to take a decision.

Tiger wasn't really all that much of a pressure fighter/swarmer, if you ask me. Maybe to his detriment. He could've done with a bit more urgency at times, particularly against the better rangy boxers he faced. Wasn't his style, though. At least not once he'd matured. I'd like to have seen some footage of him in his early days over in Africa. I figure he might've evolved from that sort of swarming, buzz-saw style to the poised boxer-puncher he became. Kinda like Nelson.

I don't see Robinson having all that much issue keeping with a tight gameplan and out-boxing him over the distance. 11-4 type decision. Tiger would have his moments, of course.
