Jeff Merritt's record

Does anyone have any first hand sources to confirm Jeff Merritt's bouts with Stamford Harris, Ollie Wilson, Carl Baker, Billy Daniels, or Al Jones? I don't believe any of these fights actually took place. None of them are confirmed by any sources I can find that covered Merritt consistently. His contemporary record at the time doesn't tally with the total Boxrec would lead us to believe, and a couple of them: Baker and Wilson, just don't jive with events going on in Merritts life at the time. Id like to see the evidence that prompted an editor to enter those.
