if AJ rejects $50 million guarantee with no

Post by dickbelden »

upside cap will he realize that it was a mistake before he dies ? conor mcgregor went to VEGAS & made $100 million against FLOYD(according to celebritynetworth). hopefully, someone will explain the time value of money to AJ. a phone call to WARREN BUFFETT may b in order NOW ! CONOR's fans were able to buy tix for face value--- AJ & WILDER's fans probably can also.

Not really comparable cases.
Yes 50 million is a big jump but he's clearing a significant paycheck every time he fights. McGregor was in a different situation, being the face of the UFC but not being paid like it. His golden ticket came along and he rightly grasped it with both hands.

Assuming Joshua and Wilder keep winning then the fight is still there.
He's got a pile of belts and draws plenty money, why wouldn't he make the holder of a single belt wait until everything was right for himself?
I know that isn't a pleasing thought to many on boxing forums but it's true. The opinions of boxing forum users really don't amount to anything when it comes to earning money.

Makes sense.

Mayweather turned a proposed $60 million payday against Pacquiao into a $250 million purse by stringing it out 5 years.

Joshua probably forsees that $50 million at least doubling if he waits out Wilder for another year or so.

Precisely; and if he doesn't make that final payday, he made a killing in the process.
