I wonder if Smith would target the shoulder to see how it's fixed.

Making George miss is the best way to hurt it. Hitting air stresses the joints when you load up and miss.
It's a worry. I hope both guys are fit so we get the classic battle this has written all over it. Best SMW fight this year.

I'm really concerned his shoulder hasn't fixed and he'll retire injured in the fight, hope not because Smith has beaten nobody so far to reach the final.

I sincerely hope the shoulder holds up and we see a good fight with a clear winner.

I was exicited about Smith a couple years ago but his career has slowed to a halt. He has solid wins over decent Euro level opponents but needs a world level win.

If Smith was to win due to an injury retirement after 2 or 3 uneventful rounds it would almost sum up Smith's career of late.

Groves is more seasoned, he is the better boxer too, certainly his boxing holds up at world level. I don't see that with Smith at all.

George never quit against Eubank when his shoulder was out. He's made of tough stuff.

It was only for part of the last round, but yes, he's tough. Both mentally & physically. Particularly mentally, he's shown real toughness. He's come back stronger after the Froch KO.
