Ali is open to challenges but is hamstrung by all the rules that go along with being the best.

You know.....your fighter can not have lost his last fight, he can't be a current champion, he can't have been caught with a prostitute over the last 90 days, no DWI's on his driving record, no athlete's foot....yada yada yada rule after rule after rule. We need less regulations, and more fights.

So....if you are a smart ass we WILL drop the belt and knock you into Bolivian for your wayward antics. So be nice and respectful, and have an acceptable resume.

Holyfield is willing to listen to challenges

Ken Norton is as well.

I'll name an opponent for the two of them if need be.

Cecilia wants Regina Halmich, Christy Martin, Vonda Ward or Laila Ali (perhaps if Vonda plays ball James will consider Schmeling)

James Toney for NOW will fight Jeff Lampkin, but if a better offer comes along James is listening.

Some absolutely scandalous scoring cost Riddick Bowe a razor thin decision in his WBO challenge against Vitali Klitschko!

We demand the commissioner investigates and orders an instant rematch

I think I have the format down. Either way, Crease doesn't show up to often, so that's the way we will roll with it.

New champs, same as last year, you have to face a fighter in the top 15 who is NOT coming off a loss. Coming off a draw is fine, but the fighter can't be coming off a loss. If for some reason nobody fits this mold, then you can go to 16-25 to find an opponent.

Another rematch for the MGM Grand title.

Only big question I have is the CW title. Right now, it would be Toney vs. Gomez, great fight. The issue I have is Gomez is an IBO champ, so can only defend against guys outside of the US. If he was to accept the fight, if Toney did as well, and win, would he have to drop the IBO? If he kept it, he'd have to defend both belts against CW's outside the US, which really limits options. Since the minor belts have certain rules this year on who you can face, I'd like to keep them circulating among the lower tier fighters, the way it should be.

So I guess first thing is first, does Toney accept a shot at the CW title? We'll go from there after.

Also, I have a lot going on this week and next, so I'll try to update the best I can.

Peter Jackson would like to challenge Vitali Klitschko for a shot at the WBO Title.

James Jeffries is interested in mixing it up with ANY of the following:

9 Bowe Riddick United States Heavyweight 1289.2
13 Schmeling Max Germany Heavyweight 1260.5
14 Dempsey Jack United States Heavyweight 1255.6
16 Tunney Gene United States Heavyweight 1250.0
17 Klitschko Wladimir Ukraine Heavyweight 1248.4

Juan Carlos is going to see what the best option is for the Sim with the CW title. If he's only defending the IBO, he's interested in offering a shot to ANY of the following:

20 Wamba Anaclet France Cruiserweight 1207.3
26 DeLeon Carlos Puerto Rico Cruiserweight 1179.1
32 Kobozev Sergei Russia Cruiserweight 1121.3

I left out Mormeck because Toney vs Mormeck might end up being for the CW title. We'll see how it all plays out and what is decided best for the Sim.

Hammer is looking at feasible options.

Sorry man, but yes. If a title is on the line, we don't allow for immediate rematches. The reasoning is because seasons ago, you'd see guys have trilogy's, or even more, and it ended up tying up that belt for 3+ fights between two managers. We'd like to see everybody have a chance to earn a belt.

It's a long season and I'm sure you will get plenty of shots. For what it's worth, I thought Bowe won close.

Hey Gilligan...little buddy, You DO recognize that your girl just BARELY got by being Couched by about 2 seconds? Talk about saved by the bell......you sure you want your little girl messing with our Tall drink of water? Send her forward with no monkey business, and it's on.....I assume this is the price we pay to get Tony, your 'other girl" fighter into the ring with a fella as tough as Max.

I don't understand how the title matches work  do we just call out whoever for title matches? Or is there a separate committee with rankings per Championship belt and we have to choose from the top ten? :-? .

Anyways....

WBC HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION Jack Johnson would like to be apart of the first unification bout of the season so if the other champions are willing, why not? Vitali Klitschko, are you interested?

"Gypsy King" Tyson Fury would like to fight Gipsy Daniels :box: for the King of The Gypsies Championship of the world. (If you can't find him then give us Kevin Johnson)

Amanda Serrano would like to face off against Vonda Ward... After that draw with Hammer she's feeling confident :TU:

************************************

Jean Marc Mormeck will accept the title fight with James Toney if Lights Out wants to have a go at it. If he's not interested, then Mormeck will fight Ron Stander.

Now though this is a bunch of typical razzmatazz and gobbledygook from BoxBuzz, I'm pretty sure this whole spiel amounts to he'd like to accept my proposal

Well after I explore this Cruiserweight Title business. Perhaps we'll talk in the near future.

Remember Buzzy. I said "Perhaps", I didn't say there were any certainties.

We'll cross paths soon enough.

Cecilia would still fight Vonda if that fight alone is good enough for you, but James is pursuing that Cruiserweight Title opportunity.

I'd really like for Gomez to get his rematch! He'd have to drop the IBO though since Toney is from the US. If he didn't have to drop it and did win, it would tie the IBO/CW belt up with basically non-US CW's the rest of the season. So let me compile a quick list.

James Toney needs an opponent to battle for the vacant CW title. The highest rated guy who accepts gets the fight:

19 Mormeck Jean-Marc France Cruiserweight 1230.1
20 Wamba Anaclet France Cruiserweight 1207.3
26 DeLeon Carlos Puerto Rico Cruiserweight 1179.
30 Huck Marco Germany Cruiserweight 1129.8
31 Jirov Vassily Kazakhstan Cruiserweight 1121.9
32 Kobozev Sergei Russia Cruiserweight 1121.3
34 Haye David England Cruiserweight 1115.2
36 Michalczewski Dariusz Poland Cruiserweight 1101.8
38 Nelson Johnny England Cruiserweight 1096.4

For those who are still looking for some gold, Juan Carlos Gomez is looking for an opponent for the IBO belt. He's offering a shot to:

20 Wamba Anaclet France Cruiserweight 1207.3
26 DeLeon Carlos Puerto Rico Cruiserweight 1179.
32 Kobozev Sergei Russia Cruiserweight 1121.3

If any of you guys are interested, let me know. If we have to expand the search further, we will.

If Gomez wants to fight for the Cruiser belt I guess we'd have to force vacancy of the IBO just to keep things on the level. If he chooses to defend the IBO title instead, then the offer should go to Mormeck as he is next in line. (and his manager seems interested.)

Figure the same. Gomez will just hold onto his IBO belt and defend it. I made the list of possible fighters for Toney because asking every manager in order and waiting will take a year and a day. In a few days, whichever guy is rated the highest that accepted the fight will face Toney.
