I expect Bivol will beat Kov but it's a fight I want to see. Chilemba is just another who cares fight.

TL;DR

Chilemba is a solid test for Bivol. No major complaints.

With all due respect...Barrera was his test and he passed with flying colours. Bivol is ready for world level.

if hes going to defend his title the pickings are extremely slim

look at the wba rankings. wow those are bad. and some of the better names already have stuff going on or just fought

and a guy like braehmer, i really dont see much in his history to think hed come to the usa to fight as an opponent

i understand the complaint, because i really dont think any one looks at bivol vs chilemba and thinks its really intriguing and a fighter either has a good chance to win

but thing is, then looking at the wba rankings theres just so little thats better AND realistic, given who is rated and who just fought/already fought bivol/is scheduled to fight

browne would be good, but he was supposed to fight kovalev and then that fell apart due to his legal issues i think, so i dont know how realistic hed be. alvarez is fighting kov already.

after browne and alvarez id say chilemba is pretty much on par or better then everyone else in the list. maybe braehmer would be better but like i said what in braehmers history says that hed come to the usa to fight as a b side? he was twice supposed to travel to fight for titles, vs clev and shumenov, and both times pulled out. and of course he just moved to 168

Yea agree with you. We’ll just have to get through this fight and then hopefully things open up in this generally exciting division.

Pretty hyped up about Bivol to be honest. Normally I’m a little more reserved. Think he’s the real deal, as in a special talent.

I saw Chilemba stopped by Gvozdyk in Vegas on the Kovalev v Ward 1 undercard.

No worries lol. Sullivan was a great test, I meant more along the lines of not to underestimate Chilemba.

One of those fights I'll watch for the hell of it but is really a totally pointless mismatch. The kind of disappointing matchup that boxing fans have become accustomed to at this point.

Bivol is ready to fight Jack any time, but Jack avoids him.

Like he already did? Bivol is maybe getting overrated already but his style of distant precision punching would KO Jack in highlight reel fashion.
