Do you think it would be worth the BBBoC looking again at who they license.
Surely some of this sort of violence will continue to spill over onto shows.
What’s it got to do with them?
If, let's call them gang A, has lots of links to boxing on the mainland, training/managing fighters, promoting shows, and gang B wants to do them damage, there is a good chance the license holders will be targeted and caught in the crossfire as well as innocent bystanders.
If boxing is taken out of the equation Gang A can fight Gang B in peace.

True mate. It's already spilled over in to a club and weigh in with scores of innocent bystanders etc... You'd think it would only be a matter of time at this rate.
Macklin fronts MTK though so how easy would it be to prove their links to organised crime etc...? Are the money men involved just in the background or are they hands on? I'm not sure how it all works tbh...
Nobody wants to see innocents getting shot. If it was the gang on gang violence then that's understandable but some poor lad or girl or possibly even a innocent kid getting a bullet is just too much. But what can be done

Not sure what can be done. Perhaps an investigation in to the running of the business?
These nut jobs don't give two fukks who gets caught in the crossfire.
It’s not a secret. They’re big time. Wazza knows, Brad Saunders, Moore, Peter Fury are all extremely well connected people. Sandra Vaughan has a very chequered past. Macklin probably did realise he was in over his head.
A criminal organisation is shown to have laundered money through boxing shows, gyms and similar and a repossession order is enforced, would boxers who were paid with that money have to repay it even if that was their only link to criminality?

Here's a question for the lawyers.
Hypothetical example...
A criminal organisation is shown to have laundered money through boxing shows, gyms and similar and a repossession order is enforced, would boxers who were paid with that money have to repay it even if that was their only link to criminality?
Wouldn't have thought so mate. Gangsters over my way all own car washes, laundrettes, barbers, scrap yards etc etc... The law dont chase their employees for the dough. 9 times out of 10 when a criminal confiscation order is enforced they only manage to get a small fraction from the person in question. ive never known any employees to get hassled for money nor should they.

Maybe boxing is different but I doubt it....
The key words in the Proceeds of Crime Act relating to money laundering and my example are "knows or suspects". i.e. if it can be shown that the alleged offender knows or suspects that the criminal property e.g. money he has in his possession is laundered money, he would likely be ordered to put his hand in his pocket.

Not sure tbh mate but I'd doubt they'd waste time in going after any boxers. Maybe they could though..... Where's Loynsey when you need him!
Very strange that there hasn't been a statement from MTK or even an acknowledgement that the coach of 4 of their fighters was shot. And it appears to have been ignored by MTK boxers, some of them who would have been on Ireland teams with Taylor involved as a coach

Have MTK ever published any business accounts ? Surely they have to release report & accounts by law , what is there income ? Merchandising , percentage of purses ? They're out goings must be huge with the amount if shows they're putting on at big losses , interesting to see things in black & white .

How do you know the shows are making losses? It's often hard to tell how many tickets have been sold for a show as some people come in, watch their mate and then go. There may only be a couple of hundred in the venue at any one time but they may have sold 10,000 tickets or more.
Have u seen the venues there using ? It's blatent what's happening but nothing seems to be done about it , I can't get away with it my accounts have to be transparent year on year , no hiding place for us .

the level of transparency is the same for 'MTK Global Ltd' as for any other Limited Company, which is to say, not that much.
what kind of 'transparency' do you expect of them? what kind of 'transparency' do you have to submit to?

none of that, whatsoever, is required to be available for the general public to view.
what *is* required of them, is available, as for any other limited company, here:
