Oh dear what a terrible stunt for them to pull.

I think it's been a great channel. I know many on here had resevations early on. I joined in the first coupe of months and would rather cancel Sky...until now...

It feels like a really dirty trick. Let's ne honest...it's so easy to get a stream or illegal version. I wanted to support the channel because the domestic and international fights were so great. I have loved the commentary team too. I like Steve Bunce and for me Barry Jones is one of the best pundits in British sport et alone just boxing.

I no longer see the point in me subscribing. I'm more the mild-mannered type but I'm fuming.

Plenty of people on here seem to be in the know...so are they about to fold? Does it have a future? If people like me are cancelling then what chance do they have?

Watch IFL interview in BT Tower when pressed about BN future - we’ll discuss it further down like - his son was asked at Warrington preview and said we’ll announce soon plans.

His 10 “best fighters” will be BT exclusive like Saturday - so that’s reduced content straight away and with Hearn going into the US for 16 shows will that be reduced Intl content soon as well.

Can’t see how it survives in the above format - looks like he’s got BT cash for his U.K. shows and shut channel down.

It does look to me like the channel is being wound down. Huge shame, but since the BT deal it was always a matter of time. I’m going to cancel it today.

Massive shame, I have had so many great nights watch BN.

I know its sad but ill even miss the channel of champions advert which comes on before they go live at about 3am  and Buncey doing his best to keep us all alert.

Its deffo on the slide though, not long left now. With BT on board its an expense that the Warrens don't need.
His content has been pony this year

They're not showing the Fury card at the weekend for some inexplicable reason. It's exclusive to BT sports only!

It's really not looking good for BN. Will BT want to commit to showing all the small hall stuff and overseas shows as well if BN goes tits up? I don't think so....

When I cancelled the guy I spoke to began by saying I'd miss out on boxing coverage such as Crawford Horn and Dubois fighting for the English title. It's not really a massive leap to suggest this isn't a great advert for the quality of the channel.

Questions about the Flanagan/Fury card this weekend were answered with 'it's a business decision.' Fair enough but not really a business decision that benefits a long term subscriber.

That's basically BT calling the shots and saying, yeah you can have our money but you've got to do as we say, if i wasn't such a lazy fcuker I phone up and cancel mine too.

They should shut down and offer BN subscribers some sort of incentive to subscribe to BT imo. What BN exclusive content has there been this year? The channel is bordering on pointless at this stage.

I’ve always had BN and sky sports..

The way around it for me is,
I’ve cancelled sky internet, signed to BT internet, that gives you BT sports HD for £15 on my sky tv and they are currently offering BoxN for free but not in HD.. I can live with that.

I called boxn to cancel, the guy said I will miss out on billy joe in HD so offered me BN for £6 just so I get HD lol
I asked if billy joe and other fights were gonna be on BT as well, he said yes.
So I can watch them on BT sport HD..
Plus billy joe had been cancelled.

Absolutely no insentive to keep allegedly subscription.

With me cancelling, it felt like the end of an era..

Ill keep going until it closes down. Shame if it does because it's been perfect for fight fans. It's got a real fanzine feel to it, like those Football Italia shows on C4 20 odd years ago.

I do wonder how many people are watching these international shows though. I bet a lot of them dont get many. I wonder what the viewing figures were for GGG v Canelo, which was given the big sell on there but must have had the air sucked out of it by floyd and mcgregor.

I've got virgin basic and BN now. If BN goes I'll get BT with Champions League too, which I've missed. Hopefully they'll keep Bunce and Jones going with their weekly show.

i switch from virgin to sky in two weeks anyway due to the utter incompetence of virgin in failing to sort out major issues with the internet and wifi despite paying them over 1500 quid a year for what we have at home.this is a bad do all round. i have been subscribing since just after it started to try and support uk boxing, seems it was a waste of time.

will just stream what i can from now on,and get what i can't when it appears on you tube.

Me too as a Plusnet customer. £2.50 for 12 months begin Aug17 then £5 after that. Also do the hdmi "trick" and apart from the odd drop in picture quality it's very close to the real thing.

I'm cancelling BN on Sunday after the Crawford fight. It's a shame as ive had it from day one, but this weekend's farcical situation with not being able to watch the card tomorrow is the last straw. I'll have to look at how to get BT sports the cheapeast way I can instead.

I cancelled a few days ago, though still get Crawford as it’s 30 day notice.

Ive been subscriber since day 1 so it’s a real shame, and the scotish dude on their cancel line has been prepped to try to dissuade, offering half price till Aug but no dice: the schedule for last few months has been dire. He insisted the Frampton fight wou.d be on BN....

Even the Godawful Adam Smith channel have been picking up more international fights than our supposed boxing channel - wilder, Inou, Adonis, Charlo etc ...but enough already.

Been feeling guilty since, as feel I should really support BN as in its prime it was a Godsend, but there’s just nowt on there worth watching, so much so that Buds sparring session tonight actually looks almost exciting.

I think I spoke to the same bloke. Very well prepped but there's not really any defence for situations like this weekend. Told him I was a long time subscriber and he didn't need to try and sell me Daniel Dubois for the English title as reason for continuing to subscribe.

To be honest I find a lot of FW's big names pretty boring anyway. The fact that they're inactive and/or matched pretty poorly doesn't make me that bothered about missing it. I'll just catch up on those fights another day. I really enjoyed Warrington Selby but was on holiday for Frampton Donaire. Feels like I've paid over seventy quid this year for one domestic fight!
