Looking forward to this one. Interesting to see how much the Wilder fight has taken out of Ortiz. With Ortiz gassing out and getting KO'd badly and Whyte coming off a confidence boosting win I am slightly favouring Whyte....

Makes sense for Whyte. He was going to be paid shít against Pulev and likely in Sofia.

Whyte has worked with Hearn before and even fought in the UK. Hearn already that this date booked so he wouldn't have wanted it to go to waste.

Now I hope it's not PPV! Knowinh Hearn, he'll try putting together a good undercard for this.

Never rated Whyte although he has come on under Mark Tibbs. Ortiz will beat whyte if he’s the same fighter who fought Wilder

So of the 3 (Parker/Pulev/Ortiz) he picks the hardest and the only one that's not a final eliminator.

It will also perform worse on PPV than Ortiz would have. I can't understand this.

Would have much preferred Ortiz and it was widely circulated yesterday that that was the fight. I noticed a lot of @‘s on Twitter from what I’m guessing are wilder/America fans with built in excuses at the back end of their comments, the best being ‘Ortiz will kill him, that’s if he hasn’t aged anymore’ (March to July ‘18) - so to say I’m a bit gutted by the Parker announcement is an understatement to be honest. I’ll still buy it and watch it but would have much preferred Ortiz v Whyte because it would give us something to help measure Wilders capabilities with the fights being consecutive.

Absolutely true. He's supposed to be chasing Joshua or Wilder and instead he's fighting Parker, which I don't believe is an eliminator.

Nice match up and I have no problem with it being ppv. 20 quid ain't bad compared to the $80 or more they are here.

Hopefully Brook has a good opponent on the undercard.

Parker said this "We've both been in with AJ. One of us ended the fight on our feet, the other didn't. That pretty much speaks for itself," said the New Zealander, the only fighter so far to take Joshua the full distance.
