Honestly, I expected Fury would be no more than 260 for his comeback.

Foreman was only 267 when he returned from a 10 year hibernation.

He weighed nearly 330 when he began training.

Of course he's about 4" shorter than Fury.

The opponent, Zouski was 212, pretty much in the same ballpark as Seferi.

Foreman won in 4. Let's see if Fury can turn the trick quicker.

Overs/unders line is 5.5 rounds.

To me Fury didn’t look in the shape he’s been portraying. He’s been with with Smith Bros Fitness and Conditioning coach and the claim was he was at 13.5% body fat. I didn’t see that today.

Depends how long he's been taking it seriously, 276 isn't seriously.

its been reported that he started in the high 300s, hes obviously taken it seriously if hes lost around 100 pounds. you cant just look at the 276 in isolation

if a morbidly obese man trains his ass off and eats right for 5 months chances are hell be much lighter but still going to have some to lose, it takes time, he should be lighter next time if he keeps it up, if hes not lighter then his dedication is much more questionable

Fury's love handles have got love handles & he was obviously holding his gut in during the press conference (I didn't realise he was so vain), but he probably won't need to be in peak shape for this sparring session.

do you understand that when your a giant obese fat ass nearing 400 pounds that it takes time to lose weight ?

do you know that he lost around 100 pounds?

he started in the high 300s so bashing his dedication to getting back in shape based on him weighing 276 is stupid

He's making a mockery coming in at 276.

From purely a physical perspective, Fury looks good and has good handspeed and mobility.

Of course he needs to drop another 30lbs, but it's more important for him to regain his fitness levels than to possess an impressive physique.

Tyson has overcome a lot of hurdles in his personal life, including having to lose around 100lbs in weight over such a short timeframe, so we should be congratulating him on his achievements.

Tyson will inevitably beat Seferi quickly and be much lighter during his next outing.

He's going in the right direction and he should be applauded for that.

..after all this self-promotion for 2.5 years in social media choosing Seferi as opponent and coming back at 276? Seriously?

Not sure really what to think Re the weight and the choice of opponent.
In my opinion it’s Either a) he taking his boxing career seriously - a real tune up opponent, not glamourous, wants to Shake off the ring rust by starting small (pun intended), fighting regularly and getting into fighting shape to challenge the champions of the division. Same can be said regarding the way he is managing his weight, taking care not to Roy Jones jr his body.

Or b) he is NOT taking his boxing career seriously - an opponent that is significantly disadvantaged (small) whom a win would generate some sort of momentum and ranking for the ultimate cash in. And this mentality rules his lack of preparation.

I hope some of these questions will be answered. Whether alcohol, cocaine, inactivity, McDonald’s has either irreversibly or irreversibly in the short term destroyed his aerobic threshold. Will he only look for the easy victory or will he use this as an opportunity to work, get rounds, get comfortable? Will he be another Lucas Browne in the division or the much more promising baby miller, a fighter with real skills, real desire and real fat.
