1st round pretty close, Metcalf wins it on 'home advantage' allegedly,
Nieto looks classy in winning the 2nd.
Metcalf wins the 3rd despite another classy late combo from Nieto.
29-28 Metcalf.
Agree, disagree ?

Let's have it Flanagan & Fury :bag: :bag: :bag:
Gorman was fantastic.
Fast-hands, stylish patient boxing. Not going for the power, but getting it naturally thru' accuracy and timing.
It was only Sean Turner, but he broke him down and stopped him in 3 rounds - a breakout performance. Gorman could go beyond British level IF he keeps improving.
 :box:
Thanks. I have high hopes for the lad

This is a really good trade fight.
You can almost tell already that Metcalf is going to win 116-112 - on workrate, size and above-all home advantage. When really it should be a draw - Nieto keeps coming up with fast, classy combos.
Someone - probably 'orse will insist the Spaniard won 120-108 shutout.

Agree with the first 3 but I skipped watching the 2 after that. The style's are not gelling for me. It's not holding my interest. And I think Metcalf is about at the highest level that he's going to reach tonight tbh.

I've got Metcalf evening it up @ 76-76 thru' 8.
But then i love a light-hitting back foot stylist ;-)
Vegas judges would have Metcalf pulling away on aggession.

If I was a fighter I'd hate to be one like Nieto.

He's just good enough to lose 12 rounders - painful

I think Barry Jones is right to say Metcalf has balance issues. Maybe he wasn't fighting at a decent enough level for it to be noticed before. If he can put that right who knows if he could step up to another level, but I can't help having my doubts after watching that.

Heffron's career has been bloody frustrating, he turned professional and people raved about him, almost 8 years later and he's fighting Andrew Robinson in the middle of a Tyson Fury card...8 fornicating years!
