So, probably another journeyman in august and then Bellew at the end of 2018. Sounds not bad.

Yes that is why it was smart for him to sign with FW instead of Eddie who would have just tried to chuck him in with AJ ASAP to get him out of the way. Hopefully we see Tyson back out in the next month or 2.

If we think logically and say, he needs 3 more fights before he mixes it with AJ, well let’s say AJ is undefeated at that time, he could’ve potentially beaten Martin, Breezale, Wlad, Parker, Povetkin, Wilder (potentially) in a row, while Fury has clowned around with dog shite. AJs confidence will be sky high and the only world class operator Fury ever mixed was Wlad 3.5/4 years previous. 2 years ago I’d have said 60/40 fury... now it’s a walkover for AJ

If he doesn't cut any more weight in the meantime and fights like that you can see him losing .
He will cut more weight but will never be chiselled, he doesn't need to be - he never looked bothered

Bellew said he would never fight one of the big HW champions but he would Fury because he wasn't a big puncher, would love to see that

For everyone saying he’s been out 2.5 years, let’s remember Leonard went on a coke binge, took 3 years out and beat Hagler. Leonard was an alien I know and I was a fury fan but I think AJ Mullers him now

Yes Pricey would be a good match up next but he's still far too dangerous for it to happen .

His weight was good, he doesn't seem to get drained from having too much muscle - I reckon Price soon, good fight as he put in a semi good show v Povetkin, not interested in Chisora again,

Good to see. I was gonna suggest a Sean Turner type opponent but after he got slapped around tonight maybe not. Someone durable at least who willl give Tyson some more rounds.

He absolutely clowned Chisora in their second fight , but after seeing that tonight a motivated Chisora would give him a much harder night .

Hard to see the big man getting back to where he was in 2015. He's still a laugh though

I agree but it's just the name I think and done twice easily before, Price has that power risk, I doubt they do risk it

I disagree.
Fair enough. I understand why you would think that but fair enough! If AJ fought Fury it wouldn't last long imo. Bellew is a bit of a joke and a vulture in boxing, he picks up the pieces with past it heavyweights pretending he's a good boxer. It wouldn't be straightforward based on tonight which is how low Fury has dropped; early days still I suppose

#1- I think it's obvious Fury didn't want to hurt the guy since there was less than a round of what I'd call hard sparring to end the fight. This was nothing more than exhibition packaged as contest to get ranked without any hiccups.

#2- Because of what limited time we witnessed, more questions than answers arise from this contest than anything else. Where is he actually at?

#3- He returns August 18th in Belfast, hopefully against someone alot better than this poor bastard; Warren says Bellew is possible for end of the year. I'm thinking that Fury could fight again in October, then Bellew in December. Four fights in 7 months.

#4- IF he beats WBC #5 rated Bellew, I'd still like to see him fight someone like Jarrell Miller before facing someone like Deontay Wilder's let alone Anthony Joshua. That'd be the real acid test in his comeback to see if he can "pick on someone his own size" and still be effective as hell.

It played out exactly how it was supposed to, all about getting back between the ropes in front of a crowd - not more questions than answers - just that -5% chance he didn't get clocked like v Cunningham

Can't really learn much from tonight, he could be shot from those coke binge wilderness years for all we know. He looked ok though for where he's at in his comeback and I guess that's all we could ask. Box ticked for getting back in there and his popularity seems to have soared in the intervening years, proving that the British public love a character (cokehead).

He was the lineal heavyweight champion 2 years ago, i dont care how much time he took out of the ring, there is no excuse for him to be fighting this level of oponent. Fwank needs to grow some and tell him he aint putting on another sh*t show like that ever again.
