Watched the replay on Foxtel.

Kelly far too quick and evasive. George's right hand went and he was getting hit too easily, hence the towel at the end of the 7th.

Broke his right hand in the 3rd and left in the 6th. Be hard to beat a bloke like that with 2 hands let alone none.

I don't think George threw a single right hand in the 6th round. Gutsy effort battling along one handed as long as he did. But even with two good hands Kelly was still going to win easily.

Now that Kris has had a setback, I would love him to rematch with Bowan Morgan. It is Bowan's only loss in 18 fights and he has come a long way since that.
Bowan is due back in the ring in November with an opponent TBA.
It would be an excellent trans-tasman battle of the WW's.
Both guys have a come forward all action style.
I wish Kris all the best in his recuperation, and hope to see him back soon :TU:
