I'm gonna wanna see Crawford against the Elites of the division.

I usually find So and so vs ATG matchups while So and So is still active to be pointless, because we still haven't seen EVERYTHING we're gonna see out of him yet. Whereas we know the ATG he's being hypothetically matched against inside and out.

Why does Gilgamesh have to make sense?

How can we really tell how good a welterweight Crawford is, soley based on his domination of a lightly regarded champion?

It may be a while before we can get a handle on how talented a 147 pounder Crawford will be.

Supposedly his autumn opponent will not be an elite fighter. Maybe the equivalent of Spence's defense against Ocampo Saturday.

So expect Crawford to look fantastic for 2018.

My gut tells me that Crawford will do fine at 147, and would give prime Pacquiao all he could handle.

But I'll also assume that the Filipino would present the type of stern challenge that Crawford has never remotely encountered.

If anything heavily favors 2009 Pacquiao, it's experience gained against a better resume of elite fighters---from featherweight on up---than Crawford has on his record.

Crawford is the correct type of fighter to defeat Pac. But to be sure it's better to see more Crawford's fights against tough opposition.

Of course as a fan we want to see the best Vs the best. Unfortunately in the era of boxing, I can predict Crawford struggling to get any of the other belt holders to fight him. There would have to be large amounts of money to tempt them in. Sure Aram has that money, but is Crawford enough of a draw at the moment to make it pay off?
It would take an enforced mandatory in my view, for Crawford to get another shot at a belt.

What was Crawfords toughest fight? Has he ever been hurt significantly and required to buy recovery time ?

his toughest fight was vs gamboa, he got hurt a bit in that one and was having problems with gamboas speed early. i thought you could have gamboa up 3-0 to start

he dropped some rounds vs dulorme too but wasnt hurt and to me it looked more like he was sizing him up and feeling him out early, whereas vs gamboa he looked legit flustered a bit

I am not sure that I would pick anyone over prime Pac.

Well maybe Duran. But that's going back long time.

I agree with the king of Uruk on that its still too early to tell how good or great Crawford is :geek:

I dont like these fantasy comparsions, but i am going in this with Pacquiao. He seemed to be unbeatable in 2009 when he steamrolled Cotto. :box: :box: :box:
