He’s putting younger men to shame, he’s already fought twice this year and picked up the WBU title last time out...

Good for DeMarcus!! He always was a cool guy and dedicated fighter. Who can forget the time he stunned Floyd in their title fight?

He should really look into investing or a regular job.

Are you his accountant or his doctor?

It's not like Corley is a tomato can. He has upset quite a few prospect in recent years. He's like the " let's see if my prospect can fight" type of test.

Exactly, he’s a gatekeeper of sorts, although not in the sense that he’s just outside the top 15 in the rankings. I read somewhere that he has a lot of mouths to feed, seven or eight kids of his own and then a few he adopted when his brother was murdered. He launched his own fashion line a while back, his brother was a designer and Chop Chop has some of that talent too...

Chop Chop was an awesome fighter with bad luck. He had good moments against Floyd. He was also the first one to truly test Cotto back in 2005. Not sure if you remember that fight but Cotto looked uncharacteristically out of focus on that fight. He had a good first round but Corley was being able to counter him with slick shots. At the end of the round Cotto kept throwing punches and even went over the ref to keep fighting after the bell. Corley then managed to hurt him real bad and was really giving him problems. I remember thinking the difference in experience was showing and Cotto was being frustrated. Thought I was about to see an upset. Then in round 5 Corley went down on a low blow got called a clean KD. Shortly after that he took a knee and the ref waved it off. Cant say Cotto wouldnt have won that fight anyway but Id say thats the worst fight he has looked mentally. If there was a night he was more vulnerable for an upset loss that was it. Corley was screwed by the local ref.
