In the main event, super middleweight contender Allan Green (20-0, 14 KOs) got off the deck to score a sixth round KO over Donnie McCrary (17-4-2, 10 KOs) on Wednesday night at the Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, Oklahoma. In a wild round three Green dropped McCrary with a body shot, but McCrary got up and dropped Green with a series of bombs. McCrary, however, was unable to take advantage of his opportunity to finish off the staggered Green. Green regained command the next round and KO'd McCrary with a left hook in round six. Time was 2:43.
sound like a good fight wouldnt stick Green in there with the big boys yet.
Allan Green nearly stop but wins in the end.

And some of his fans think he could beat Chad Dawson.REAL_DEAL wrote:Fight news

He gained his composure because Mccrary stood off him and did nothing. He never pressed home the advantage. Green actually looked a bit like Codrington did limp just taking shots. If it wasn't Greens hometown I believe the ref would have stopped it.
Yes but before Ali fought Liston , Cooper won the European title . Hardly Donnie McCrary was he now .Phenomenal-Nutrition wrote:What was the name of that fighter, the top HW prospect, the 1 from the 60s, that got dropped, and exposed as having a glass jaw just before his title fight.................Cassius Clay
I personally dont see quite what all the hype about Green is. His jab was nothing special. He walks in straight up, chin in the air. He doesnt appear to be overly fast on his feet, and after this fight you might want to question his chin. They sure as hell better not put ihim in with Calzaghe cause it will not be a pleasant sight.

Didn't DLH get put down by a journeyman early in his career? Hes hardly a chinless wonder. Calazage himself got decked 2 fights ago against a journeyman of sorts. I saw some clips from the fight and Green looked deadly and dangerous and turned it round remarkablyBigEars wrote:Yes but before Ali fought Liston , Cooper won the European title . Ya a flash knockdown in the first and Oscar finnished him on the same round . A quick look at the guys record also shows he was a lot better than McCrary but I don't think we expect Green to be as goos as DLH so that doesn't really matter .Phenomenal-Nutrition wrote:Didn't DLH get put down by a journeyman early in his career? I don't think comparing Green to Ali and DLH was the best of examples though , I sincerly doubt Green will be an all-time-great . He may pick up a title , he may not .
