No, but I'd like to be wrong. Or even better I'd like GGG to take it out of the judges hands.

Yep, one or the other way, it shouldn't last 12 rounds this time.

Which is not very likely to happen. Out of them two Canelo has more potential for the improvement. And if ginger survives to the final bell after being better than in the first bout, he will be awarded a victory almost for sure. I believe, it'll be just like that.

I expect a KO, because:

- Canelo will likely have a worse stamina and strength due to being off PEDs for a longer period of time
- Both of them are pissed off, so there will likely be less caution

You never know. It might even end up unfavourably generous to GGG to make amends for the first fight (like the Lewis - Holyfield rematch).

But I suspect it will be just as corrupt as the first fight.

Well, those can become factors.

Golden Boy show
Golden Boy golden boy.
I thought GGG would need a KO to win the first fight, same thoughts this time around.

There will still be plenty of unconscious bias towards Canelo even if gross cheating/ incompetence is guarded against. That's just human nature and can't be prevented. Nothing in it for them to be biased for Golovkin.

We expect that, but keep it reasonable for crying out. Better still we won't need the judges, but that's unlikely because both can take good shots.

Still, all eyes on Canelo. His performance in the first fight was his career best but can he repeat it? Or even better it?

If he does, he gets automatic redemption, but if he gets knocked out his entire legacy goes down the pan in one fell swoop.

So he has to be feeling confident.

GGG needs a KO to get draw this time

I am expecting Canelo to come to survive again.

Hell be on the bike like Lance Armstrong.

There are probably other similarities between the two

On the other hand, we've never seen Canelo box on a higher level than he showed against GGG. He's been improving every fight, but he'll hit a ceiling at some point.

Golovkin has fought better than last September. Considerably.

Canelo has more potential for improvement, based on age. Golovkin has more tools already in his box. I think a more aggressive Canelo gasses and gets stopped late.

Me too but based on the first fight I expect it to go the distance again. GGG had an iron jaw and Canelo doesn't have elite power. GGG does have elite power, but Canelo had a very good chin and good defense.

I said before that I could see GGG being stopped with bodyshots - GGG didn't go after Canelo's body last time, I wonder if that will happen again?

I don't think it's prudent for boxing fans to ever expect fair judging.

I suppose some of the posters (voting No) think that judges will be on Golovkin's side.

They are pissed off so much that there will be no face off.
