I appreciate you granting me an interview a couple years back. I've followed your career closely since, and in all fairness yeah I think you're probably making the right call in hanging 'em up.GalenBadBoyBrown wrote: ↑05 Jun 2018, 22:28 I believe it is time for me to hang them up got a new job and haven’t been in a boxing gym since June 1 2017 been a good run for me having 89 pro fights but time to pass it on to the youngsters wanna say thanks to all who supported me on here might due a retirement fight in my hometown but hard to say I have to keep my brain together

A retirement fight in your hometown is probably fair due to the long career you've had. Hopefully they can get you a fairly easy matchup so you can go out with a W.
Best of luck in your future endeavors Galen. You've had an interesting career, and you'll be able to tell stories about it for the rest of your life. Good stories at that.

The fight never happened because Polley didn’t want to we have been friends since grade school but when it comes to money we can be friends after the fight on the way to the bank might be the only fight left for me to train for just for the pride but if it was to never happen I am good with that also I have had a long good career time to pass it on but if the money is right I can always come out of retirement lol
Trey had been training this past winter with Tommy's old trainer Tom Virgets and was looking good developing that Morison left hook. Virgets was in the corner for Trey's last fight. Unfortunately for Trey, Virgets was offered a job as Executive Director for AIBA which required him moving to Lusane Switzerland.HomicideHenry wrote: ↑13 Jun 2018, 00:41 Oklahoma, Arkansas, etc always has nice little scraps. As for the Brothers Morrison, I'm not sure which one I like better. Trey Lippe or Kenzie. Virtually identical in looks, size, abilities and records. It's all a matter of who steps up first.
And is it known with whom he trains now?JMac wrote: ↑15 Jun 2018, 10:44Trey had been training this past winter with Tommy's old trainer Tom Virgets and was looking good developing that Morison left hook. I don't know the trainers name but they wanted a guy who could teach a similar style that Virgets taught and it is some guy in Kansas I believe. It's not John Brown who was Tommy's amateur coach.DrDuke wrote: ↑15 Jun 2018, 10:51And is it known with whom he trains now?JMac wrote: ↑15 Jun 2018, 10:44Trey had been training this past winter with Tommy's old trainer Tom Virgets and was looking good developing that Morison left hook. Well, it'll be great, if that other coach appears to be at least as good as Virgets. Thanks for the info.JMac wrote: ↑15 Jun 2018, 11:03I don't know the trainers name but they wanted a guy who could teach a similar style that Virgets taught and it is some guy in Kansas I believe.
