British 140 Division

Post by Taansend »

Taylor looks head & shoulders above the others. Should he beat Postol he'll be up there with my man Prograis & the tough Relikh.

Under him though there are several decent fighters.

Catterall (who has a good fight against McKenna coming up), Davies Jnr, Davies v Leather plus a few other up & comers could all produce some decent fights.

Flanagan needs to get back in the ring again at least once this year, in my humble opinion.

I don't know what weight Ricky Burns is fighting at but he'd be a good tussle for any of the above.

IT was a non boxing person, a student here who told me. He said he's just had a kid and couldn't be arsed.

Yeah he pulled out of the Davis fight, which I thought was a shame. Sometimes a sprog can change your outlook.

Speak quite alot to a mate of mine of how many good domestic dust ups could be in this division, with the lads below Taylor, Burns and Caterall maybe

Nurse, Robbie Davies, OD, Leather, Foot, Hughes, Mckenna, Sutcliffe, Farrell, Saunders, Mulchay, Maxwell ect

Think they could all fight each other and losses against each other wouldnt hurt their carrers much at all.

Burns is done at world level. I see he's fighting a no hoper tmrw. That will get him one more good fight, which he'll lose, and then hopefully call it a day.

Call me cynical but it looks as if Burns is being set up for Ritson! That would be a snidey move from Eddie but shít happens! I'd love to see Burns just retire. If he was to have a cash out fight then there can't be a better earner than Josh Tsylor! That's me talking from his perspective! I do not want to see that! I hope Burns just wraps it!
