Your Three Fight Bill

Post by Taansend »

You have a unlimited budget for a three fight mega card.

Where the fight is held isn't relevant in this case. Just pick the three fights that you would want on your bill for maximum enjoyment/interest for a worldwide audience.

Would you go all big fighters or all action fighters or have a blend of everything?

Don't take this thread too seriously :OhYes:

Kovalev vs Stevenson
Crawford vs Spence
Joshua vs Wilder

Venue: My back garden
Attendance: Me

Sorry guys, if I have unlimited budget and power, I’m monopolising the entire show. Don’t worry though, I’ll put up a RBR thread on here and update it regularly.

Like most I went for

Lomachenko v Garcia
Crawford v Spence
Joshua v Wilder

All the fighters accepted a 50:50 split. Alvarez wouldn't so that's why he never made the bill.
Some posters here were happy with that because he got 92.5% fighting O'Sullivan instead.

Joshua vs Wilder
Usyk vs Gassiev
Lomachenko vs Garcia

However, all of the mentioned match-ups are great, some especially. And the most close to my three are Crawford vs Spence and Canelo vs Golovkin.

Crawford/Spence
Loma/Garcia
Usyk/Gassiev

Joshua / Wilder is a great fight but not at an especially great level in my opinion. Clearly the best two at the weight and unbeaten which is always a great mix but the division is piss poor. Those six lads above are elite guys

Usyk vs Gassiev

Crawford vs Spence

Loma vs Garcia

Those would be the best match ups available right now.

Other ones I would like to see...

Fury vs Joshua. Fury would have two years training camp somewhere in Siberia with polar bears as sparring partners

Wilder vs Povetkin with British officials who would have been brainwashed to thing that Povetkin is fat version of Hatton.

Saunders vs GGG.

Canelo vs Jacobs. With me and my two clones as judges. And as referee and as rings side doctor. With Vegas being nuked just to make things sure.

Dorticos vs Briedis.

Would still love to see Kovalev v Stevenson even though they are past their best now.
Bivol v Beterbiev would also be great
