It would be a great fight if this was next up but that isnt going to happen.
The risk is too great imo, If this was Fury straight after the Klit fight there is absolutely no way Price wins. But we are not talking that scenario now. If this was to happen in August this year in my opinion its a 50-50 fight. You have to give Price a big chance but the likelyhood is that Fury would win, but thats not to say he would. It would be Price's best opportunity at fighting Fury and possibly the only opportunity he has of beating him.
Fury wouldnt face Price next, not a chance in hell, hes not wanting a 50-50 fight, Fury will be wanting a 99-1 fight, and that purely sensible for him.
Isn't it quite ironic how things turn out sometimes?
Fury would have boxed Price out of the county had they fought in 2012, now, here in 2018, a pre washed up Price is arguably 50/50 against Fury today.
Saying, I wouldn't mind seeing it, as it has a certain intruigue to it.

That's exactly why it won't happen. At least not in the short term.
David Price may or may not have confidence issues but I think it's telling that he's held in high esteem by British fighters who don't seem keen to step into a ring with him. He might well be one of those great gym fighters who struggle to produce it inside the ring fight night.
The last thing anyone would want is to face a confident David Price which is what you might get if he feels confident with a familiar opponent.
David Price remains a high risk (low reward) opponent as Povetkin almost found out. Imagine if Price had won.
I'd like to know how Price has quickly gotten so overrated. He landed a clean hook to Povetkin's jaw, who was off balance, and it didn't come close to dropping him. UK fans are out of it. Price loses to any form of Fury.

I agree, but nobody denies that Price has a big punch and therefore is dangerous.

Fury has already ducked Price once, so I can't see him fancying it now, even though Price's chin is weaker than balsa wood.
So even though Tyson Fury was willing to fight Wladimir Klitschko, you’re claiming that he has previously “ducked” David Price and still fears him?
Are you really that dim that you cannot see the difference between those two bouts in terms of risk v reward?
Are you really that dim that you cannot read the rest of my argument and comment on it?
I cited several reasons and you chose to challenge only one of them... out of context.

David Price isnt as bad as the Fury that fought lat time out. I think you are missing the whole point of why a Price v Fury fight wouldnt happen next time out. The risk is too great. Price has a punchers chance against the Fury of last weekend. Price hasnt a chance in hell the Fury of 3 years ago, but Fury ist that person at the present so you have to give Price a decent chance of landing a punch.
I dont really think anyone over rates Price, 'us' Brits know what Price is like, but he is a big bloke with a big punch, granted no fcvking chin but nevertheless if he swings and connects an out of shape and rusty heavyweight anything could change the course of Fury's destination.

It came very fcuking close to dropping him
Eh, I'd expect such a big puncher to outright drop an off balanced opponent after connecting with a clean shot to the jaw. According to the Brits, Price nearly won by KO.

When has Price ever beaten anybody? The guy should be retired.
