Is this an attempt to get Dirk’s percentage even higher?

Lets see what happens in the next fight,i'm sure a lot of viewers will have been put off by the circus in Manchester.

Is the mack dad back? He will end up flat on his back when he steps back to elite level I think. And that comes from someone more of a fan of him than the robot AJ but my personal affection does not cloud my judgement.

FW announced that that’s what his return show peaked at. It’s a good number for BT but considering AJ v Parker did well over 1m individual buys (so in all likelihood 2.5-3m viewers) it’s not huge.
He did well to get near 15k tickets sold but my concern is, given his performance/opponent, will there be the same demand next time he headlines?! I hope I’m wrong but I doubt it.
Also was it really the biggest ever public workout?!

The TV audience was likely to be the highest Tyson Fury has ever had due to the curiosity factor in addition to his usual audience. Bearing in mind past ticket sales I was surprised that so many people actually handed over money to see the show live. Based on the contest, I suspect that this will not be sustained nor bettered, however his next contest won't tell us as the figures will be impossible to judge due to Frampton being a draw.

He definitely seems more popular now than ever before - although I can't explain why.
People seem to have forgotten about his previous problems - as long as he stays the happy Tyson and doesn't venture into his political views he will be ok (oh. and keep John away from the cameras!).
Mickey - what is the score with Peter? - there must have been a fall-out?
As Tyson and his dad seem ok, have they both fell-out with Peter?

Of those 15000, how many will go back for seconds after the Seferi debacle? Surely not many ?

Why would Mickey know? Peter and Tyson are both obviously keeping their mouths shut on this matter, so the likelihood that either of them have had a heart to heart with Mickey about it is zero.

He's social media popular, and his frankness is a good salesman.

Agree with this. Curiosity would have been a big factor. The level of interest in his next few fights if he continues to fight no hopers will be a better indication. Even then it might be difficult to tell because he might not always be headlining.

How many would have been there for Flanagan? Has he been a draw in the past?

AJ, Wilder, Luis Ortiz, or possibly even a few other lesser contenders would drop him on his fatass. Dude's a fraud that apparently can sell a lot of you sheep snake oil while wearing a Batman costume.mickey1975 wrote: ↑20 Jun 2018, 05:26 Agreed. He's the worst "Lineal" Champ of all time, and a disgrace to the sport.

naturally i think there was extra interest with him being out, take something away and ppl often value it more (some obvious acceptions ), so now that hes back i think his attraction level will start to fall back closer to what it was, though perhaps he will have a lasting added popularity
