I thought the butt was accidental, Arthur landed a big right and both men swivelled inside and clashed heads, Gulyakevich was a bit dirty especially that blatant headbutt! He moved back and then rammed home a sweet nut. Arthur then threw his head back in a bit of a delayed reaction but not condoning that headbutt it was cynical, some refs may have chucked him there and then but i thought Barrevocchio did a good job and managed to keep control well enough.
Shame about the ending as the fight was warming up well, the Belarussian was arguably starting to feel it by the seventh but he had landed plenty of scything hooks early to make it more than interesting. His reputation as a puncher was maybe a touch overplayed given the level of some of his opposition but he certainly dug hard enough and regularly enough to make this more than interesting as long as it lasted.
And a short moan on ITV, generally the commentary was not bad at all but ITV always seems geared towards the casual fan while SKY's approach seems to cater for the Boxing enthusiast. This aside i can;t stand that prick Jim Rosenthal, he is a smug eejit with that sickly grin of his makes me queezy. When he said "It's Alex Arthur versus Sergi Guli-ka-vic" i wanted to twat him. And finally....why were Rawling and McKenzie obsessed with all this Challenger and Champion nonsense. Time after bloody time "The champion landed a good jab", "The challenger responds"...flip me just call them Morris and Munroe for goodness sakes
