Taylor should not accept a rematch.
Poor Postol. He schooled Taylor in at least 4 rounds. Wonder what he is going to do next, vow never to fight in Scot- land again :shame:

5-1 and then Taylor took over? The 7th was when he was hurt and he lost the 8th too IIRC

I thought Taylor came back 9 and 10 but you could make a case Postol won 3-8 as well as round 1.

Why is anyone surprised? IJL allowed Josh to head but, rabbit punch and shoulder Pistol anytime he wanted.. ''Gentleman, you've had your instructions in the dressing room, I'd like a good clean fight..... well, except for you Josh, you can do whatever the fvck you want.''

Ok fair enough, he had a better 2nd half to the fight than the first, even my Mrs said no way the Scottish guy won.

They've brought shame on our nation.

What happened to subtle corruption?

Since that absurd Russian "poison attack" we think that we can do anything.

I thought Taylor edged the fight by 2, possibly 3 points after dropping behind after the 7th and 8th but those scorecards have definitely taken a shine off the achievement.

that write up reminds me of the irish commentary for dunne vs cordoba, had dunne miles ahead and just went silent when dunne was down twice , acting like it never happened

totally fake news

taylors kd won him the fight imo, he looked very much in danger of losing pretty much the whole time

beating postol close is still a world class win, no need for 10-2 crap

i think you can make a case either man won as there were tight rounds in there and even a couple of the later Taylor rounds he had good first two minutes but took shots in the last minute, but you absolutely can make no case for Taylor winning 8 rounds never mind fvcking 11. I don't think I'd argue too much with anyone giving Taylor red 2, maybe one out of rds 3 or 4, then 9-12, so then he wins with the knockdown, but for me that's the absolute widest you could score. Cos Postol definitely won minimum, minimum 6 rounds for me.

It was a legitimate word class win spoiled by absurd 3rd world style nonsense. I don't mind a bit of corruption, but I do object to a lot of corruption.

My nation is going to the pisser and it's happening right before my eyes. I've complained about the BBBofC many times on this site and I'll do it again.

What the hell are these jobs for the boys incompetent clowns doing to our beloved sport? They do not have one single talent to share between them. Snivelling worthless flesh. Shame on them, shame on them, shame on them.

Couldn't agree more Horse. We missed out on what should have been an exciting announcement of a close high level contest which would have sent everyone home happy. Instead we're all talking about disgraceful scorecards.

What a joke. I had Postol by a round. How can this keep happening? It`s ruining the sport.

Taylor was loading up far too much and was being outscored on the outside. It was close and no real complaints if Taylor was given it by one or possibly two but those cards were just utter pish.

Is Scotland the new England when it comes to corrupt scoring?
