Price is the most senior member of the who-needs-him club. Nobody above him will fight him voluntarily, nobody. His best chance is to get himself into a mandatory for the British title and hope Hughie fancies the fight but I can see Hughie vacating as he has a name at world level after the Parker fight. Hughie got offered the wilder fight. Price will never be offered a title fight. He will have to get through miller, duahaupas, breazeale etc and I don't think he can.
Povetkin just fought him!

Teper and Hammer.

Was anyone avoiding him in that time? He was just dropping in level to rebuild confidence in between getting knocked out, wasn't he?

Price will not be ducked to any significant extent. He is not currently a bad risk vs reward proposition for most fighters.
I'd not say Teper and Hammer are decent names really. They're not really in any world title contention. Basically European-level fodder. Either way, they're the best names in a period of almost five years in what should have been the prime of his career.

At this point he's still a risky fighter. Beat him and you've beaten a guy many think should have retired anyway but he's still clearly a huge puncher.

Povetkin fought him because he needed to fight after the drug controversy and no doubt it came with the sweetener of Eddie hearns stable including AJ being dangled. Let’s face it why the hell would AJ or wilder want to face him? He’s too far down the pecking order for Parker, and Whyte would probably fight him if there was no one else about but he’ll be eyeing up ranked opponents for a mandatory position.

It’s not a case of him being ducked it’s a case of him offering zero risk to reward. Unless he drops tondomestic level where he would be a big scalp for domestic level fighter, but like I said he’s likely to blow them away. The only real names he could pull are guys like debois and Joyce who would maybe interested in having name on their resume.

He may be risky, but we have no idea (nor enough time passed) that he's being ducked. That's just silly.

I really don’t know what your point is Horse. I asked who is going to want to fight him? Then outlined reasons why I think he is in the “who needs him club”.

He has no risk v reward ratio, no ranking, isn’t capable of commanding big purses and also won’t generate interest as an opponent in any high profile fights.

You stated he’s fought povetkin, that’s great but I also outline how he managed to get that fight and that fight if anything sent a message out to other top heavies that price isn’t worth the hassle.

Ducking to me is him being in direct contention with another fighter and them avoiding him. That’s not the case here, the issue for price is he’s in limbo and doesn’t really have any way of getting on the ladder up highly ranked fights again.

So everyone is going to duck him then?

No, they aren't. None of this is based on reality.

He will get opportunities if he wants them.

The only person mentioning ducking him is you.

I really can’t be bothered drawing diagrams for you horse. If you think he has any type of ranking that’s going to get him a decent fight then you let me know.

Clueless. Price isn't going to have trouble getting fights.

He is not a bad risk vs reward opponent for most fighters. They are not afraid of his power.

You are wrong.

I talk far more sense than you.

Why would I bring this up when his next fight is announced?

He's probably going to be fighting a journeyman.

If he's fighting someone good then I win.

No, he is going to choose to fight a journeyman because he has just been sparked out.

Are you kidding me with this moronic response? Have you no shame?

When you loose to Hammer you should realize it is time to quit

Povetkin took the fight because he thought that Price is well known in UK and there is like zero chance of him loosing that fight. Price prove that wrong. I think Povetkin was more hurt by Price than Wlad.

Price might have some problem finding meaningful opponents after that fight.

So much sense that rather than people agreeing with you, you just say 'I make sense' hoping it becomes true by just saying it. Very, very pathetic. I can go around telling people I'm Jesus Christ, doesn't make me Jesus
