Terence Crawford vs. Amir Khan.
Terence Crawford vs. Amir Khan.
Who wins? Khan's speed and reach could give Crawford trouble, and Crawford might not have the power to stop him.

Crawford has the power to stop khan. He’d also be as speedy as khan. The difference would be the boxing skills between the two. Crawford having the greater skills by a significant margin.

Re: Terence Crawford vs. Amir Khan.
Not sure what you are ADDICTED to, but it is clearly messing up your thought process. Khan's speed does little to negate his china chin. This clown has one of the weakest chins is modern-day boxing.
TC is masterful at adapting his style in mid-fight and he will be able to handle whatever Klownish Khan throws his way. If TC doesnt methodically break down and stop Khan he will win a lopsided decision
Re: Terence Crawford vs. Amir Khan.
I give Khan next to no chance of winning against Crawford. I can see where the OP is coming from but I'd back Crawford to stop Khan.
Re: Terence Crawford vs. Amir Khan.
TC vs. Khan is like shooting fish in a barrel and we've seen enough of these types of opponents for Crawford. He's champion now so enough of these soft fights. He needs to defend against the better WW's out there so enough of this crap.
Re: Terence Crawford vs. Amir Khan.
Crawford would be a ridiculously priced favourite, but on his best day Khan can be a handful.
I can see Khan making it entertaining for the few rounds that it lasts.

Re: Terence Crawford vs. Amir Khan.
Terence Crawford would find Amir Khan a tough opponent to beat if the Brit can somehow find a way to handle Bud’s power, especially if the bout was staged in the UK, since the title challenger is almost certainly the bigger draw.
For sure, the American would be an unreasonably-priced favourite to win this fight, but I couldn’t entirely rule out the possibility of the Brit’s ability to defy the betting odds and score the upset.

Re: Terence Crawford vs. Amir Khan.
Khan's been a pro for 13 years and he's never done anything truly spectacular.
He's won some championships but in this era of readily available belts, that's not enough to define you as special.
The truth is that Khan simply isn't a top tier fighter. He's a speedy contender with decent boxing skills, better than average power and a very brittle chin.
Really he's just another guy.
He doesn't belong in the ring with Crawford or any other high level welter.
The top 147 pounders would all KO him.
He should take the money that a Brook fight will offer and then consider retirement.
If Khan ever gets a big fight opportunity with someone of Crawford's pedigree, it's because of his name. Not because of any outstanding professional accomplishments.

I think you're being a tad overly-critical of Khan's accomplishments and also underrating his boxing ability - for the following reasons:SenorPipino wrote: ↑25 Jun 2018, 10:32 Khan's been a pro for 13 years and he's never done anything truly spectacular.

• Amir Khan is a former Olympic silver medallist, competed in ten world title fights (spanning four weight classes), and defeated several former world champions, such as: Marco Antonio Barrera; Andriy Kotelnik; Paul Malignaggi; Marcos Maidana; Zab Judah; Julio Diaz; Luis Collazo; Devon Alexander; and Chris Algieri.
I also feel that the current iteration of the following list of fighters could potentially lose to Amir Khan:
• Kell Brook
• Danny Garcia
• Lamont Peterson
• Lucas Matthysse
• Jeff Horn
• Manny Pacquiao
• Jessie Vargas
I’m not suggesting for one second that the Brit would almost certainly beat all of these men, but I’d give him an excellent chance of emerging victorious against them.

This would be an absolute ass-whipping, Khan wouldn’t stand a chance.

I'd love to see it,always a pleasure to see Khan getting ko'd
Re: Terence Crawford vs. Amir Khan.
There's a saying, that there's always a chance. This match-up kinda makes the saying funny.
Re: Terence Crawford vs. Amir Khan.
All these people talking about Khans boxing skills - He has a super fast jab and straight and can throw it going backward and forward. That’s it.

Khan is far from a bum. But he is even farther away from top echelon.
I think he is the most over rated boxer of this century

Really?
I don't think he's that highly rated to be overrated.
Maybe Brits are still high on him.
He's found his niche as a second tier contender who can beat others like him.
But no one (well maybe a few) feels he stands a chance against elite welters.
He doesn't have the chin or physical strength.
Khan may tell you that he's back to clean out the welter division. Most know better.
His latest comeback probably ends should be tangle with Brook at year's end.

Maybe I am still living in the past. Just a few years ago several were saying he would beat Mayweather and Pacquiao.SenorPipino wrote: ↑25 Jun 2018, 20:17tiny_acres wrote: ↑25 Jun 2018, 17:46 Khan is far from a bum. But he is even farther away from top echelon.

Khan would have literally no chance of beating Crawford
Re: Terence Crawford vs. Amir Khan.
I don't know if I can handle watching Khans' head bouncing off of the canvas again.
Re: Terence Crawford vs. Amir Khan.
I’m not sure what’s worse for the brain......prolonged punishment over the course of a full 12 round fight or getting knocked out early to mid rounds. I remember seeing a documentary years ago which explained the KO does the most amount of damage......nfl players apparently have long term mental repercussions for those that have been KO on field multiple times. Whenever I think of that, whenever I think of brain damage I think of Khan. I would be happy if he didn’t fight again.

If you like your mismatches entertaining, then this would be the fight for you.
I'd like to see Khan in a proper fight before truly assessing his chances in a potential fight against the likes of Crawford.
Because he's managed to lay idle whilst the strongest WW division in a generation passes him by, it's now difficult to gauge what he truly has left.
The Lo Greco 'fight' was completely meaningless & told us nothing.
Khan needs to step it up & stay busy, otherwise he is toast when he does go after the big dogs.

Read somewhere that Khan's next fight will be announced this week.
The opponent is not expected to be Crawford---or anyone else with a faint pulse.
Expect another Lo Greco type. Just a stay busy mismatch while prepares for the expected Brook fight in December.

Samuel Vargas is the fighter being mentioned by the rumour mill.SenorPipino wrote: ↑27 Jun 2018, 09:35 Read somewhere that Khan's next fight will be announced this week.
